THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.

Nothing special. I really have no interest in school-based drama... the sex scenes weren't very imaginative either.

It all started with 5 interesting minutes then I had to suffer through what can be probably summarized as a common pornographic video. All those scenes served no purpose, or at least I didn't see it... and they never had this malaise-inducing "aura" the original OAVs ones had. What a waste of duration, I hope the next ones will do better than this.
The fact this OAV is typical of the neolithic era of digital japanimation didn't help either with all this flatness and the overabundant of 3DCGI and computer special effects (weather, blur, etc). Add to this that the DVDrip seemed all blurry (unless it comes from the original video).
The chara-design for returning characters is so "bland 2000s", only Amanojaku retains some individuality in this domain.

I wasn't expecting Ozaki to be shown as much, I suppose his role was abridged in the first OAV.
Other surprises were the technological level of the (Jin?)Jyûkai and the fact the students are in college (at least based on the subtitles),

1.5+/5 So angry about this trial that I had to write that before finishing the series. XD

@Blackouting I need some counselling before I lose almost 30€ in the first FAKKU tome ^^". Is this really closer to the manga than the Chôjin Densetsu ?

edit @Blackouting Thank you. Too bad I lost torrent download on that, only the first few mega were worth it.
No idea about the sport, but I read that Amano's hypothesis of Ozaki being the Chôjin wasn't so short in the manga, the character playing a longer role.

@Rei366 don't know as I'm just familiar with the various animes.
Would advise giving up here though! Absolutely nothing of interest happens (Ozaki has boxing matches for about 2 hours of the runtime). Not sure if all the school-based drama / sport crap is just to make this reboot more relatable to "kids today", i doubt the manga had much of that..?

The lines on Amanojaku's cheeks make me think of Naruto.
