Sad that Mori died in the aerial combat. Although introduced for a short span, this might serve as a harsh reminder that foes completely surround the ship.

With Takumi knowing everything about the past he is in the same condition as the complete Mirai crew. I liked how his fingers were shaking as he went over years of history. I am not really sure how the vassal is going to return to 21st century again now.

Also seems like they might have to retaliate a bit, getting more and more interesting.
I don't know why people write that they are approachable persons,
if you were you wouldn't be on MAL.

Extended families or lovers on MAL are a farce.

That library truly is like a Pandora Box for Kusaka, the comprehensive history of Japan, including everything that has happened from the 1940s to the early 2000s. It's such a mystical feeling to see Kusaka read through the history of Japan, it's a successful peace 60 years in the making, with millions of lives lost and crushing defeat being part of the process to reach that peace everyone endlessly sought after... Such an impactful scene, especially when Kusaka himself cried as he mentions the casualties, particularly from Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Speaking of casualties, the Mirai crew now has its first casualties, Mori died serving as a patrol gunner, his life aboard the Mirai is a shortlived legacy, but a powerful one to remind all the remaining 240(+1) members onboard of the Mirai of the unavoidable threat that WW2 poses.

This is the best and most well-structured ep so far, you can sense just how anxious the crews are.

A little padded. These events probably shouldn't have taken an entire epsiode as not all that much happened.
