| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- This was quite a busy chapter, actually. Starts wih the true introduction of Sumire Saitou, taken in by the Kotobuki family in exchange for "performing various tasks". Would be cool to eventually learn more about this 'cause the details are very vague so far, but we'll see if it's ever expanded on. Either way she's continuing her efforts to procure Mugi's family's tea set, but whereas Mugi ended up becoming great at staying hidden (to surprise Ritsu), Sumire gets found far too easily. And is far too quick to make tea for everyone. :P However she's once again scared off by Sawako - this time by the bear costume that Yui freaked out Ui with back in volume 2. XD Azusa does a solo performance at a student welcoming party and displays her terrible singing (in fairness, I do think her actual singing voice from the anime is the weakest of the HTT girls :L). A new girl drops by to briefly try out the club and ends up breaking a string on Mut-tan somehow. Azusa's down about not finding any new members, but Yui can only offer the advice of doing it her own way. Between Ui's baking skills and Sumire's tea-making, it's as if nothing's changed! XD Never thought I'd see Azusa advocating the joys of just sitting around and talking. Sumire can't possibly deprive the club of tea now, though, so she can't reveal her true reason for being there. Looks like she's gone and joined anyway, though, in addition to Okuda-san from earlier returning, believing she will succeed the most in the pop music club. I dread to think how she fared in the other clubs... And I'm guessing Azusa's just so giddy about the idea of 'her' pop music club that she can't contain it and has to bury her head in her pillow. :P Well the club has 5 members again. Let's see how this generation shapes up. :) |
