| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- What a beautiful chapter. I was moved by the way Kouhei spoke about his feelings for Taichi. Although I don't have a hearing disability like Kouhei, I could connect him with how he felt before he met Taichi, so it made the rest of what he said about Taichi's impact on him somehow more understandable. "If I could do it over again, I'm sure I would choose this life again. Meeting Taichi has made me happy." I guess it more like I was envious of Kouhei's feelings for Taichi, it's so pure. Literally crying as I type this now. It was also interesting when that girl in the club was talking with the mask and Kouhei yelled at her in frustration. She said in a passing comment that "people without hay fever wouldn't understand, so there's no helping it." I'm sure Kouhei felt even worse then because he thinks the same thing about his hearing disability. I also enjoyed the talk between Taichi and his grandfather about not being able to stay in the same place forever and don't use being lonely as your only excuse. This was a really interesting chapter. |
