Intense episode.

We get some body count rising and hunters are on the loose. Is it just me or does one of them seem a bit ripped? The second half was especially intense and poor Doug....even he isn't a match in this sort of battle environment.

Gangsta is reaching its climax.

Watched the Spanish sub. It was okay. Some parts were intense but how they plan to cram the ending is gonna be interesting since the real fight has yet to begin unless they do an hour finale or maybe more ... wishful thinking on my part.

That cliched lollipop sucker gal has got to die and in a real painful way too. I am hoping the Boss Lady takes her down since Ginger might get her legs cut off. ;p

I fucking knew that he was going to die......Why did it have to be Doug TwT

These new antagonists are way too powerful O_O I love how this episode built on the intensity that the last episode gave us and just raised it sky high

Well, as expected they're gonna end things with the resolution of the Christiano arc. Meaning that they introduced a host of characters in these past three episodes that they won't be able to expand on, simply because it was a setup for the next arc, bleh.... also means they might leave it in a major cliffhanger as well.

Oh yeah,

On another matter, I really like Marco Adriano and I hope that Connie it is well, although I doubt it. The Destroyers band are a group of powerful matherfuckers, and that lollipop girl is really dumb, saying to an enemy the identity of their boss. The Striker guy and Alex's brother are the ones who I'm most interested to see.

PS: Did anybody noticed the absence of Worick and Nic in this episode?.

Really weird how they are doing things. Showing Doug getting sliced in the beginning, then jumping from event to event afterwards. The death scene had unfitting music and was unimpactful.

No show from our duo.

Next week is the last episode of this so let's see how they finish it all up. There could be another season if they wanted to make one.

its a shame, i really liked the whole set up of the anime but with all the new bad guys, everybody getting their ass kicked, and probably no second season ill probably give it a 6 unless the last ep. is mindblowing

Intense episode. But not much of Worrick and Nic. Just mentions of them really. But poor Alex. I wonder how they'll manage to properly end it with one episode left.

Those hunters seem OP af.

I really like Delico. I hope nothing too bad happens to him. It's weird that he ended up being a Twilight, while his sister is a hunter. So I guess one parent was a Twilight and the other was a hunter or something?

Until next week then. I don't bother watching it raw personally. But I'll look forward to the finale next week. I hope it's good.

I agree. In my opinion, the latest episodes haven't been very interesting, especially when I compare them to the first few.

Shit got real this ep. Doug might possibly be dead and Connie is in quite a pinch. Seeing how Destroyers don't seem to have mercy I fear for Connie D: Esp since Marco seems to have a connection with them.

They sure are intimidating as hell. Sig owning bitches left and right (Holy shit she's OP AF and I love her voice). How Doug just got REKT and the way Striker was chilling on the phone while "Killing time"
Tomokazu Seki fits Striker quite a lot. His arrogance is on the higher side. He sure knows VAing those types XD

Ginger is more BA than them all tho :P

But having Sir react to their name just shows how much shit they can cause

I want to see a Ginger & Gina versus Sig & Colt fight. Not sure how they're going to resolve everything in just one ep.

I can't believe how poorly done was Doug's death. There was no emotion because it happened so fast, and at the end, the music ruined it even more.

Overall, the episode felt quite underwhelming, too many things happening at the same time, but none of them got to shine. I can't see how they can end this in a decent finale. It either will be a train-wreck, or just a giant cliffhanger.

Giant cliffhanger if they adapt it properly, or an original ending, which is unlikely but possible.

Neither Worick nor Nicholas was anywhere in this episode. That is just disappointing. I watch this anime because those two are badass, and now they are gone. It's like in a Batman series you have one episode entirely about Robin, but I honestly have more to like about Robin than any of the secondary character in Gangsta.

Last episode is probably the big fight scene between hunters (who, ironically, reminds me very much of Hunter x Hunter) and the protagonists. But here is the thing: these hunters, the Treitiy Esminets, just came out of nowhere. Defeating them is hardly the end of all things. So unless this is getting a sequel or something, I can't say I am enjoying the plot here.

On the bright side, the animation has vastly improved compared to previous one. Not that it is stellar or anything, but I can watch the episode throughout without having to pause and say "That looks like crap".

Soundtrack is mixed. It fits the mood and is nice to hear it but it gets a bit repetitive and bombastic at some point.

Verdict is 3 out of 5.

Thing is that it wasn't dwelled on or portrayed as a shocking thing. Violence is a way of life in egrastlum. Another reason why doug's death wasn't really dwelled on. Tags die all the time.

Anime is good, fucking deal with it.

So much violence, but it all seems to involve characters whose names I don't even care to remember. Doug was the only remotely significant casualty, and it looks like it'll stay that way with how many new characters being introduced left, right and centre. Also, what the hell were the Handymen doing that means they can't be around to help out? They weren't even in this episode at all.

This ending is becoming a mess of rushed pacing, too many new characters and events without the proper exposition, the MCs being thrown to the background... I know the ending will be open, but the manga is still ongoing so there's nothing they could do about it.

No Worick or Nic in this episode at all. But things are really heating up in Ergastulum with people dying left and right. RIP Doug. And I hope Connie is ok.

I do have to agree with others though that the last few episodes have seemed somewhat rushed, and introducing a whole plethora of characters without having enough time to properly flesh them out due to time constraints and the short episode count isn't helping. Oh well, this was still one of the better shows this season, and I'll be a little sad once it ends.
