Well this volume had a contrasting mood. Went from a pregnancy misunderstanding rumor involving Akagi to something that may have been real relating to Sora.

I don't like this Sora girl much though. She seems too fragile and have too many self doubts that she event mentions it in chapter 7 of this volume. Apparently, she feared that if she had a relationship with Hikaru, it would of been nothing but dull. Kinda sad way to see herself as such...

But anyways, not too shabby. While the first half was silly, the drama got melancholic later on despite a bit forced.

It was rather surprising to be subsequently told that Sora's not actually pregnant. If it had been otherwise, it might've been more interesting. It is indeed praiseworthy that the other crucial characters are never neglected—Honoka in particular xD. Anyway, the plot is progressing quite well, I'd say; 'A battle royale in the next volume!' proclaimed the author—can't wait to see what kind of excitement awaits me. I have high expectations for this LN and I hope it doesn't end in disappointment.

P.S. Honoka best girl.

It was surprising seeing the story being led astray from its linearity, as in chasing after the "intended" girl. The new girl was forgetable but still interesting. I did enjoy the perspective of a girl who was different to the usual ones in Hikaru's harem. The selling point were the interactions between Hikaru and Koremitsu along with Koremitsu and his mother. It broke my heart seeing Koremitsu reminiscing about his mother but the ending really salvaged my feelings. So beautiful <3
