| Okay, this episode was way better, and way funnier than what I expected. I just didn't like Ryou calling Umibozu a lolicon like that. Sure, his relationship with Miki (what happened to her hair color? lol) is questionable, but it wasn't something planned and Ryou wasn't fair. But welp, this was the first time I laughed out loud with City Hunter though. xD |

| I have to be honest but this season through the first six episodes was really starting to feel like the show had run out of ideas. Especially episodes 5 and 6 which are 'jumping the shark' levels of bad for this show. The preview for this episode kind of solidified that opinion going into it, I didn't expect much at all from this... BUT HOLY **** WAS I WRONG!! this was probably the funniest episode of the whole franchise so far. I'm 100% certain I haven't literally laughed out loud as many times in an episode of City Hunter as I did this one. Just so much to love in this episode, it felt like a love letter to anyone who has seen the whole franchise up to this point in many ways. Only thing it lacked was more Saeko. Pretty much every joke in this episode lands. Even the damn eye catch was hilarious XD My favourite part was definitely the School Girls telling Umibozu about the fan club and then presenting him with a plush of himself lol. |
