| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well this episode felt kinda different. It was nice to see Vorona's dad Dracon make his presence in the show. Is it just me or does he look like a skeleton.. For one thing, we learn more about Vorona and her past, which imo is interesting. Definitely not one of those typical childhood or happy past times. It looks to me like she is very lonely as she spends a lot of time reading books. One thing I do give credit to her though is that she showed almost no fear when taking out that burglar. This is one girl you don't want to fucking mess with. Nice to see more of Izaya this episode though. |

| Russian!! The lady with too much knowledge in her brain. No wonder she killed with reasoning. Those Russian Sushi people taught her skills... wow, lots of "tanoshikatta" with different meaning. That lady attacking the girl with her power on her eyes, who released her power. Celty caught up, but the lady attacked again. Celty and the girl with eyes power decided to stay together. Main guy and HiroC's character searched about his group whole night. It seems like Shimono-san's character will reveal his true identity to the main guy next ep. |

| An episode focused on my new waifu O_O My hype has been intensified EDIT: My goodness Vorona is just perfect....I freaking LOVE this girl so much <33333333333333 Her backstory was really good and man I can't believe what she went through as a kid. But damn, not only is she pretty much a genius but she's a highly trained badass assassin/hitman. When they showed how she took out an entire gang of like over 20 guys by herself like it was nothing I was fangasming all over the place lol Drakon and his friend are pretty weird lol but damn they're pretty scary. I'm glad that we also got characterization for the Russian Sushi people and I really like the fact that they're all connected with Vorona and Sloan too.The Izaya and Mikado moments were pretty cool as well But what got me really pumped was to see that Vorona freaking got rekt from Anri lol.....And she liked it xD Man Vorona is just sex to me lol. I laughed so hard when she saw that Celty didn't die and that she was alive, Celty pretty much rekt her too xD.....Now she knows that Akhibara isn't a place to fuck around with =P I wonder what's so special about those weapons that she has though Vorona is still my favorite girl ;3 |

| So it was Varona at the end of last ep. Loli Varona was so cute and BA!! She turned into quite the psycho though, having fun destroying mafia and stuff. Also wanting to experience being cut up by Saika lol Well even with her BAness she couldn't do anything against Saika :P And she got Mindf***ed so much XD Celty is just too much for a newbie :P Didn't expect Simon was actually one of her sensei's. Interesting to see her past. I wonder what Aoba's up to now? |

| Not the biggest fan of Vorona since I don't find her that interesting of a character. The Russian bosses described her pretty well in the beginning of the episode. She has the mental intelligence of a child but has the training of a deadly assassin. I bet Vorona doesn't think Ikebukuro is such a boring city now eh? She hasn't even met the looniest people Ikebukuro can offer. Would love to see her go toe to toe with Izaya or Shizuo Egor is gonna have a tough time wrangling these two loose cannons |

| The noticeable drop in the quality of the animation is disappointing. I would have hoped for consistent quality for a popular series like Durarara. I hope they bring their A game back for the next episode. |

| Nice episode there. Vorona seems nice so far, but I still root for Celty :D I knew that Anri won't be defeated so easily. Mikado being naive as always. Man that Aoba guy looks dangerous, can't wait to see how much he can do (still hope Izaya will destroy him) |

| Somehow I had managed to forget how awful is their Russian pronounciation. Izaya - a good guy, huh? That's funny, Mikado, really. Could Kida possibly show up in the next episode saying more than about 10 words? Hope so. |

| first half of the episode: im like okay wth is all this about?... completely forgot about last weeks cliff hanger until that scene came back up. Confused why she went to Anri's apartment anyway.. I wonder if this new shadow helmet is permanent for Celty. Last season Mikado was on the verge of having a death battle with his two best friends because of shit that Izaya cooked up... and he STILL listens to him and is now saying hes a good guy? |

| Varona is badass! I love how she was reading a magazine after eliminating all the gang members. But never underestimate Anri! She's not only boob character afterall. Celty following the truck and the explosion was awesome. So Ikebukuro is not so boring, huh Varona ? :D They are not even the craziest ones lol. I wonder how would it go against Shizuo or Izaya C'mon Mikado! You can't be this naive! Something's fishy with that Aoba guy. |
| This show is still fantastic, but the animation was just awful this episode. The choppy action scenes were annoying and the lack of detail even seemed to increase. Please come back Budget-San! |
| Okay the animation this time? Really bothered me. But yaaAAAS next episode based around my babe Kuronuma. I found the new character kind of ... meh.. honestly I've seen too many "Kill without caring/it's fun" but I don't really mind it that much. Still pretty badass. |
| Are there any LN readers here? I'm wondering how many volumes they had been covering in this cour. Since there are 13 in total, and 1st season contains materials from 3 volumes as far as I know, for the 3 new cours to adapt all of the remaining material, they need to adapt at least 3 volumes for this cour. Can someone who read the LNs enlighten me? In which volume are they right now? |
| That was a heart pounding episode! I really felt the danger when Varona faced Saika and the Dullahan. She doesn't know who she is facing. >.< This episode finally explained Varona/Sloan and Egor's reason why they are in Japan. Also, really like how Izaya is being a nice guy... and he actually admitted Shinra and Shizuo as his "friends" lololol. |

| God, the animation this episode was pretty awful. It was so bad, I felt almost nauseous at some points. Hopefully next episode is better; I'd hate to see such an otherwise outstanding show falter so blatantly in this regard. Other than that, it was a decent episode. I'm not the biggest fan of all of the new characters they're introducing (Varona, Chikage, etc.), and the Russian side-story seems very out of place, but I'm sure they can get back on track for the rest of the show. |

Her father Drakon even states she is smartest out of her organization. And besides you can't really blame her for it, she basically brought up by books, not a parent. | I just can't believe how bad the animation is... when the russian masked guy went to the sushi restaurant, it looked just so awful... actually the whole episode looked very very bad...:( I thought Durarara was pretty popular so they should have a good budget for it but seems like it's not the case... Anyway lol Izaya a good guy? still wouldn't trust him xD |

Plus the seiyus are popular so they must be expensive to hire They're funded by Aniplex, or at least Aniplex is producing, so I'm sure they sponsered Studio enough for one of their best selling shows. |
