| I kinda hope that she doesn't start going to school. She should broaden her group of friends, sure, but school probably wouldn't be good for her and there's nothing useful they could teach her that Elias won't. Except social interactions, but that's why she needs to expand her group of friends. The other apprentice, her familiar and the artificer make for a good start, but she should try to find more people her own age or at least more apprentices or fey that can't or won't harm her. From a story perspective though, I don't think they need to add too many more characters any time soon. Stark700 said: I thought they did a good job with the use of body language this chapter. Unless you think being a slay vega is a curse, then I'd say its just biology (or whatever the magical equivalent would be). |

Being a slay vega is a curse. She has a limited life span. She is considered a tool to be used and discarded once drained of her energy. That's why she sought after. There's a possibility Elias isn't using her for her ability - as others suspect. He might actually be trying to savie her. |
| Angelica is right though, Chise is pretty dependent on Ellias but it's understandable in her case. |
