I was expecting him to win her love through romance, displays of affection, talking, letting her get to know him, et cetera. Instead he spends 3/4ths of the manga getting aggressively seduced, including an attempt to get him drunk so she could take advantage of him, then he gets semi-rapey with her TWICE and she realizes she loves him from that? And he still loves her by the last chapter despite her continually showing no interest in anything beyond his virginity. Sakura was the only one of the 3 I actually liked! Her reason for being in love was actually understandable, but of course she was just there to... uh, create some drama I guess? Even though we all knew she had no chance. |
