| Website “Hey Oni-Congoers! This year, Oni-Con’s Charity Auction will be benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (http://www.stjude.org/waystohelp). The auction will be on Sunday at noon in the Main Events room. We will have tons of cool things such as autographed swag, figures, posters, and much more. Come on out and help us support a worthy cause and save the lives of children! In addition to our Charity Auction, we will be hosting a book drive for underprivileged schools in the Houston area. Bring new or gently used books appropriate for children from PreK though 12th grade and drop them off in the boxes located at registration and the Volunteer Room. We would like to promote the love of manga to the next generation so we will have two separate boxes – one for general books and one for your gently used manga! Help us share our love with kids who wouldn’t otherwise be introduced to our world!” |
