| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Having obtained an ally and a ship, the Kingdom decide to go for the jugular. a 4:2 fight. the crew prepare for battle whose outcome is uncertain. i have to say. this show is slow moving. the battle sequence is not spectacular. think star trek but slower. Having watched the banner of the stars series, this show is rather dull. but its still fun to watch because you want to know how they make it through being the lone wolves in a jungle of bears. |
| Damnit, that was dull. I get the build up of it all...but man. Show me the friggen battle already. |
| So Shu really does only have 1 ship. Seems like proper battleships are extremely costly things in this world. It does feel like it's a little presumptuous to think a 3D space battle with such varied weaponry could go only one way; that there'd only be one optimum plan of action. I suppose the decisiveness of modern weaponry should be put into account here, but it does seems rather simplistic. Regardless, it'll be interesting to see what kind of stratagem the transport ships are for. |
