Gudrid is a good, albeit somewhat clicheed character and I am glad that this arc will focus more ont he political situation and organization of their journey. Oh, and that fight scene was well choreographed. |

| Women were much more respected on the norse society than some places in europe though. Women during the medieval ages have actually better rights(Of course the 20th century is still a better place for women to live now) than during the roman times, the victorian times and austen times since you can have more choice over your personal life, except probably as a bargaining chip for political marriages, though the latter mostly applies for noble women. |
