| so we are half through the series. but still, fillerish episode lol. except anna and hao scenes though. the series didn't deal with all "nature protection" that well. lol |
| It's a good series so far but the dub studio really "over westernized" everything. It's similar to what the dub studio for MAR [Marchen Awakens Romance] did with their dub.. Particularly when it comes to censorship. Things like changing parts of the OG dialogue is something I can tolerate to an extent as I realize sometimes it has to be molded a bit in order to have the translated words synchronize with the animations. But when a studio cuts out the opening and ending songs and replaces them both with English versions. Well that's going too far IMO. It's also a huge waste of money. Unfortunately, that's what the companies have in mind is money which is why they try so hard to make it appeal to Western society. Making money is relatable but wasting money on cringe ass intro and outro tracks is something different. BLEH! Still though I'm enjoying the series. It isn't an anime that takes itself too seriously which is actually kinda nice for a change. :D |
