| I have gotten at least 4 to 5 friends addicted to anime.. they just dont know it yet! They love Naruto, Bleach, Death Note, Initial D, Guyver and a few others... I'm slowly drawing them to my web.. there are lots of anime lovers that don't know they love aniem yet! |

| Hi there all I see that i'm not the only one here from jordan, Nice to meet you ((Jelly_star)) I know that the topic of this forum is "where in the middle east" but since i'm bored out of my mind and have notting else to do, I hope you don't mind if I just writte here, It doesn't matter if no one reads this, I'm just writting to kill some time. So all of you are anime fan, well for me i'm kind of new in the anime world, to tell you the truth I didn't every image I'll became an anime fan, and I never thought there were that many fans in the middle east. Anyway I'm watch them almost everyday, it's kind of fan, they have a special something in them, i can't tell what, maybe it's the art, I love the way they draw the hair and eyes, the characters aren't that bad as well. The only problem is that people still think that anime is for child, a couple of my friend thought that too until I showed them the first episode of elfen lied, I think they change they're mind after that, but still they didn't find it as intersting as I did, I guess different people like different things, they aren't much people around me that like anime, and i don't have the change to discuess them with anyone, that's the reason I decided to write here, no one knows me , So I can writting anything here about anime, without being afraid of what others may think of me, it's ok if no one reads this, it's not that important, it's just my way of relaxing after a very stressful day. if the admin can make a forum for free chat, it would be great just to writte anything that cames to mind, a way to pass the time. I'm only online on the weeksends so you probably won't hear for me agian until next thursday, I'll be writting again so I hope you anime fans don't mind, thanks. |

Btw Armageddonn, there is the blog feature on MAL, you can write such things there, especially when you are bored, you can throw out your thoughts, and it doesn't matter if people read it or not :) Some people write blogs even though they don't want it to reach to people. |

| A blog is an internet journal, it is like a personal diary but the only difference is that it is not personal as anyone on the internet can read it :P Look on the menu on the side, you will see 'My Blog', click on edit beside it. There you can start writing and there are options to make it private or public. |

(Sorry for some of my grammatical errors; I am a bit rusty on my Arabic right now but am taking Intermediate Arabic this year!) I have no Arab/Turkish/Kurdish/etc. blood in me, but I still love the Middle East deeply. I've traveled extensively across Turkey and am planning a trip to Egypt, Israel/Palestine, and Lebanon hopefully in 2010! Also, forgive me if I have some problems understanding your dialect; I only know Modern Standard Arabic, and some Egyptian, Palestinian, and Syrian Arabic. Uh, yeah... that's my story, and I'm sticking to it. |

| Hello to you ya Amriki :P....I am glad to see an American who is actually interested in the Middle East :) If you can understand some Syrian then you can surely can understand Lebanese :), they are very close dialects but are really different from Egyptian, Standard Arabic and the dialects that are spoken in the Gulf countries (well, most of the club members speak them). We hope to see you always around :) |
| It's kinda funny how I got into the Middle East... I was really into Russia and the former Soviet Union for a long time, but at Georgia State University the Russian class fell apart; I also am very active in the anti-war/anti-imperialist movement here in the US so I became attracted to Arabic that way. That got me into Turkish, and, well... here I am today! |
