| Nice ending, despite this being another set-up episode. Rikuo's sudden change was sort of abrupt, but I'm glad it happened all the same. Oosran said: Sup Rikuo, did I miss like.. 20 episodes of sword training? This is a good thing. The less training arcs, the better. |
| Damn I thought this episode would animate the fight with day rikuo, dumb cliffhanger >.< Well at least it's all great that most people finally changed their opinions of day rikuo, coz from my memories of the manga day rikuo isn't supposed to be as wimpy, though I guess this serves to juxtapose his transformation into his badass night self. Anyone get the feeling that day rikuo going badass is like tohno shiki from tsukihime? |

| Average episode, only redeemed in the end with Rikuo finally acting like a legit main character, granted I wasnt expecting he'd be skilled, I was just expecting a cheesy interception where he is the on that gets stab, and well you know the scenario. It is true he is the grandson, so he must at least have some instinct in his human form. I really gotta read the manga, I get the feeling the anime doenst do Rikuo justice, plus I find his voice annoying. |

The master of this guys seems strong but i don't think he really wants to kill Rikuo, This whole thing seems more like wanting to see if his capable for his loyality. |

| ^ it's not like when he turns into Yokai form, Rikuo's body gets taken over body another soul or anything... The two are one and the same being. Think of it like alternate personas. Technically, anything Yokai Rikuo can do, the human form has the potential to do as well. The sword he always has. It's not like he pulls it out of nowhere when he transforms. It's actually a very important in future stories: |

| Almost an entire episode all about boring youkai talking only the last couple minutes are worth watching. I really don't understand why there is such a character as Kiyojyuji was needed in a series like this. I mean what else could be more annoying than seeing him bragging the whole fucking episode about fucking boring stuff. And Yuki-onna being so useless in this episode does help it either, sigh. |

I just can't stand it when they're on the screen, with their freakin' ridiculous, idiotic jealousy. But they're also in the manga so I somehow bear it. I hope their roles will decrease in later story. Oh, and about the episode. 3 out of 5. The manly action of Rikuo saved the day. And I'm glad I'm not the only one who rationally thinks that Rikuo does NOT pull his sword out from nothing. I was also thinking where he hides it when in school or - on trips - but I think he is just a little liar ;p He says he detests yokai and so on, but he actually realizes who he is and, of course, has some decent skills. And knows how to hide it from his friends. |

| I don't really like how they are doing the anime, the manga is 100x better, and is really annoying reading some comments here about day Rikou, he's clearly one of the best characters in the manga, but I hate how the anime makes him annoying. |
| I don't think day Rikuo is annoying in the anime. In fact, I love him just as much as yokai Rikuo. Well, in the end it's one person. Just with two different appearances and extra abilities, that's all. But I don't think he's annoying in day form. And I don't see any aberrations from the manga. For now, at least. Hope it stays this way. |
