| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Just watched the movie. I have a pretty good feeling a lot of people will compare it to CoD:MW... There isn't much story to it, but the 3d cg is pretty decent and it's quite entertaining watch little animals shooting each other. XD P.S: I don't think this is 12 episodes series. From the impression of the official website, this one looks like just one episode release. |

| Btw, don't bother downloading the [Pretentious] Release, they may have nice subs, but did cut about 2~3 minutes on the beginning, including trailer (what might be a good thing, actually) AND the foreword. Pissed, took 3 hours to download cause their seeds suck and now not even that hilarious, subbed foreword Commie, as much as I hate them, left it in - actually something good coming from commie's laziness.. |

K, first off, what is the foreword? The text? That's part of the trailer. Can you not tell by the BGM? Apparently cutting out the same trailer that people have see for a year might actually be a good thing but simultaneously the text in the trailer is like sacred so ????????? | My god, the immense levels of gun pr0n. Seeing an SR47 with an M68 CCO up on it, i knew some quality stuff was going on here man. Botasky's M14 EBR had an Aimpoint too on it so I was like "wuts going on here yo" Then f*cking he comes in and saves Packy's ass with some CQB combat, using the CCO with a battle rifle, top notch stuff right there. Excellently timed use of Claymores and smoke grenades too. Correctly depicted firearm usage with even Packy checking to see if the round chambered in his rifle although, woulda liked to see Packy pick up an AK magazine to use in his gun, woulda made me splooge mah pants. /end /k/ mode. |

| I kind of dislike how Packy (what happened to his name being Perky?) is the lone wolf cowboy type since in the manga he was more of a consummate professional and didn't engage in excess risk. Then I don't know why Rats isn't in this show...not to mention why the Canarians were represented by two animal groups rather than their own distinct one. Since this show isn't following the manga at all and seems more like a simple action show I kind of doubt the setting will be as meticulously researched as the manga's was. Surprisingly enough, Botasky is pretty much exactly how he was in the manga lol. Despite all that, this show will still probably be one of the best in the season. |
| They used the whole dessert storm / MW2 scenery, and the rescue heli is a slightly modified MI-24 HIND??? (Notably a Russian one, absolutely badass looking) Otherwise, absolutely genius parody of a lot of modern culture. I love it! |

| 100% CGI, 0% plot, but who needs plot when you have that kind of CGI. I was still marvelling at the detail, particularly the smoke cans, the chopper, the things going boom. I laughed a little at the pun last year (rabbits = Americans = "U S A G I's"). These bunnies don't run. |

Doesn't mean this isn't a good series, because it is. Can't stop thinking about CoD:MW though :P ... Or Battlefield: Bad Company 2... First anime series I watch that seems "realistic" in warfare. And all the while having Japanese VAs. Pure awesome. It's like the marriage between my 2 favorite things: Warfare shows and Anime. |

| I lol'd so hard when Botasky and Packy were doing reconnaissance of the zone and both their tails were moving xD! I liked this more than I expected. The animation is brilliant I'll give it that, but it would have been a lot better with some gore. Sorry, I meant lots. Or is it that the animal protection society would oppose? XO |
