Kenji as usual was curious about battles between dojos. We're in for a treat! Oh, and how can you expect his buddy to stop him when they're surrounded by the enemy? |

Yeah, his straight punches were easily dodged. That guy's movement was as fast as his punches. |

Yeah, but what will he do? Go on a wild goose chase? I doubt other than the fat leader guy and the martial arts teacher there are any good fighters. So even if they locate here, there's no rescue. |

He will win if it's with only Johnny, but against all of the Mafia? |

---------------------- Chapter 6 Discussion Starts Here ----------------------- Something interesting is brewing up, eh? The story is finally progressing. This could be used to make the name Kenji more famous in the world of martial arts and mafia. |

If he can move beyond his naivety even a little, he will be able to survive. |

I think he'll beat Johnny, and by that time someone would come to pull em out of the mess. |

And yet another step-stone trodden upon. Seems like Johnny either didn't have much experience of getting hit or he lost his cool when Kenji was suddenly able to touch him. |

I agree that Kenji has been good, nut to say he can fight to full potential now is an over-appreciation. He was just reminded of the 'false and truth' thing which was already taught to him in Bajiquan. Personally, I didn't find this fight too interesting since he just owned him with straight punches with kicks. It was more like combos than tricking Johnny with his moves. |

---------------------- Chapter 9 Discussion Starts Here ----------------------- Su-laoshi's moves seems to be taking away the attention of the opponent from certain part of the body and weaken the defense at those points. Where as Ken-chan made his second move before the opponent could counter his first. |

Depends on when they meet. Wonder how long Kenji will wander around China. If he gets to meet some strong martial arts and gain experience of fighting them, there's good chance of him matching up to Su. |

Are you implying he didn't learn anything significant at Taiwan? |
May 27, 2010 1:58 PM

Not at all, I'm simply implying his grandpa was his original master and I think will continue to be his master. He learns from others but ultimately he will have to apply his newly learned skills to help him in the training of his martial arts at the supervision of his master. I believe he has learned many things but I also believe he needs his master to finish mastering Bajiquan ************************ Volume 13 ************************ ---------------------- Chapter 1 Discussion Starts Here ----------------------- So he has to become Chinese, will he succeed? Going to school would probably help him a lot to learn the language and culture. |

Dunno if he'll succeed or not, but I'm sure this arc's gonna be helluva interesting. If that place is still like that, y'know where I'm getting at... |

---------------------- Chapter 2 Discussion Starts Here ----------------------- That guy really doesn't think Kenji knows bajiquan. Will he be impressed or will he decide Kenji really doesn't know bajiquan. Its all based on his demonstration, I think he'll probably impress that guy, or he will say: "very good! But you need to fix your inner energy!" |

But that's the way I like it! Previously all the fights were some sort of spars, but now it's serious. I like the atmosphere, it excites me. I can't wait for the next chapter. |

Nyohohohoh! I like how this is turning, less boredom and more material! This time Kenji will have to go all out with his martial arts, whether he likes it or not. And the most juicy part of this arc. |

I don't think the manga would end without him finding his grandpa. I wonder what he'll do for intel on that family. |

I'm hoping something serious problem arise beside him being an outsider goes on in that village. |
