| Aww, Hi-chan is having a rebellious phase. Her tantrums reminded me of the episode where Ha-chan had all those wacky transformations. I'm glad they found Danpa, meow! =^_^= |

The story is great, but it's a shame the animation is so poor; there were scenes that felt more like a PowerPoint presentation than an anime, haha. It looks like Studio Deen is handling most of the episodes (just like with OtonaPre, this season of Mahoutsukai is also being produced in collaboration with Deen and Toei). Honestly, I kind of expected this after seeing the team chosen for the season, but it’s still frustrating to see a series I enjoy being treated with such disregard. |
| Hisui was going thru her pancake phase this episode, I feel sorry for my girl Kana, she is once again see things, her nightmare will never end. |
| Pink Diamond again this time, I actually wanted see them transfrom using Saphire. That will have to wait I guess. Hi-chan is such a brat, aye! I think's she's a little bit more rebellous than Haachan. |

| Good episode overall, though it felt like this one was on the backburner end in terms of production quality, cause the storyboarding was painfully janky. Still much better off than the absolute mess Otona had, plus the sequence with Hisui awakening her magic was visually splendid, courtesy of Yuu Yoshiyama. It does seem like at least this had more much time to cook beforehand unlike Otona did, even if it's the same director, so my optimism is still pretty high. |

| enjoyed the action, but they still could not put a scratch on that guy -- time based power feels OP. It looks like he was using the huge monster to provoke Hi-chan to use her power.. also nice to see some of Mirai former classmates when they are grown up. and their problem is solved by Liko's dad finding the lost cat by accident. lol looking forward to next week! :) |
