I'm interested in what you all think. Obviously, I don't want JoJo to end and I somehow doubt that there will be a 10th part, although I would love it if there was, since JoJoLands doesn't seem like a proper conclusion to the series. Ultimately, it is Araki's decision on when and how to end it and we are lucky to be fans during a time like this for the series, watching an entire part develop from beginning to end on a monthly basis. Now, realistically, when do you all think it will most likely end?

@Btsrajan JoJoLands hasn't set up any deep mysteries like JoJolion did. JoJolion had more mysteries and potential plot threads in chapter 1 than JoJoLands has had until now, 22 chapters in. Many believe that the main villain has already been revealed. There isn't even a centeral goal yet. While that may be seen as a reason why it will be longer, it's actually a reason why it's likely to be shorter, since major goals are what drive the plot forward for a long time, with many setbacks along the way.

Not anytime soon. Considering Part 8 took 10 whole years, this is probably gonna end around the same amount of years too due to the pace.

@thischeetobussin There is no reason to believe that this one will be as long of a story as JoJolion.

True but at the pace is going, I really don’t see it ending anytime soon either. I feel like we’ve only just started to get a little tiny bit into the main story

we haven't even seen jodio set sail bro, and if this is truly the last part I think araki will try to tie up the loose ends of jojolion

Yeah but Araki got a lot of collaborations and side stuff aside from the main manga so that's why I think it lasted that long.

@L1ncoln86 Set sail to where? It's not a sailing story, plus Araki is not known for going back to previous parts. He moves on as soon as he feels that the themes of the part are complete and doesn't look back.

Part 8 took 10 years from first chapter to the final chapter, so I believe it will be going on for a minimum of 7 years. Araki isn’t as young as he used to be, so he will probably conclude Jojolands when whenever he decides to retire.

For some reason I doubt this one will be as long as JoJolion
