Feel kind of sad that the anime will stop for awhile (maybe a few years) as it has caught up to the source material.

Knowing that Kato-Sensei has announced that the manga is nearing its end, I imagine we'll have to wait for this one to arrive to see a new season, after this one. Very sad, but we can at least look forward to the weeks to come and make the most of the exceptional episodes Voln is now offering us.

There's space for another animated season, plus it looks like after this saga there will be another one (I'm talking about comic material) so with a season per year should be good

After 7 years we got 3 seasons in a row
now the anime will probably stop for a while but we will definitely have another saga and it may be the last one

I thought it was announced after about a year ago that it was only halfway through, where'd you see this info?

@GreenPanda56 I couldn't tell you anymore, to be honest. I must have seen it a long time ago. It's also possible that my mind has mixed up the Kato-Sensei statement you're telling me about with the Yukimura-Sensei statement for Vinland Saga. So sorry if it's wrong

looking at the stats , how bad the anime sold its not optimstic enough to say we will get another season, unless manga does a HUGEE breakthrough which it wont, it has gone past its prime

season 2 still had some hype in it but this season didn't get any sort of traction at all, the manga and the anime is way past it's prime

even if this still looked good it still wouldn't probably compare to it's popularity back then

The manga is def in its final arc but its monthly so no telling how long that'll take. I imagine once Shueisha has the manga finale date finalized they'll greenlight the final season(s)
