Why is this dubbed in French and German but not in English?

My guess was a mix between licensing issues, and the dub studio being against the content of the series. The girls do look somewhat young. I enjoyed the anime subbed, and I liked the full manga.

Cuz we, French speakers, hate subtitles.

For the German speakers I don't know

(Just joking actually we got anime on TV and laws that say anything that comes on screen got to be in French so they dubbed to milk it. Now we got much more streaming services the anime channels are dying and they no longer make the dubs massively aside from Crunchyroll. Anyway our dub industry is crap with athletes and singers like Orelsan voicing anime characters while it should be the job of voice actors)

Same with Bakemonogatari only a German and French dub exist. Maybe it has something to do with Shaft. That aside the German one is horrible. But well the jap vas for bake are one of the best you can get so the competition was never fair imo.

Simple it's Aniplex who didn't want to do one in English because Aniplex do his own dub. If I had to guess it's marketability that dictated french and German dub over English it's not the first neither the last Aniplex series in which it happened.

@TheRealNyanpasu shaft got nothing to do with it it's Aniplex who hold all the cards for their show. The animation studio is just a contractor.

吹き替えが苦手だからって、「英語マヂで嫌いいいいい」と勝手に決めつけるのも流石に盛りすぎでしょう？笑
日本語分からん子が大体字幕付けで見てるし笑

まぁ日本の声優業界が弱肉強食主義が強いからこそ、下手な声優があまりでない。「とになく、誰かに吹き替えして貰えるといい」って気持ちで採用された英語話者の声優と比べりゃ、日本の売り子は化け物だらけ
