Seems like they used to be friends in another universe, or in past lives, or whatever multiverse theory can spew. I hope they get their original form back soon, even if they're CG.

I want to be wrong so bad but I don't think there's going to be an art style change. I think the glorious Greek gods and goddesses are just going to be their previous incarnations. Just set your expectations at 0 so if it gets any better you can only win, not lose. Though after watching episode 1 I genuinely have no idea why you would make a show this ugly and not even dump a few extra bucks into the first episode's animation to look better than a slideshow. I'm in it for the long haul, I will complete this show simply for the fact that I will be an anime historian, one of the 10's of people who actually watched this slop and can tell people about it.

The original series has the Shadow Angels pretty much in the same "alternate dimension" from where they could invade. Aquarion always had the human world/shadow(angel) world duality. Evol threw a spin on it by having two worlds populated by humans, and even Fudo couldn't tell why the world was split, but by thinking of it, it just maintained the same duality the world in Aquarion had at every incarnation. Now we're back at having another duality, and they even called the "mythic world" the "world of the shadow angels" in this episode.
What changes is the connection the two worlds seem to have and the nature of how they oppose each other.

I've seen people say that MoE is bad or whatever because it's unrelated to previous seasons? But 1: I don't think that's true, they've never outright just reused a design when it was meant to be something new, I think this will have correlation to why the vectors look like the ones from the original.

But also 2: Logos exists, practically a completely disconnected entry with few of the themes the previous shows had, the MCs didn't even have the super powers elements were known for lol.

this episode tickled my fancy even more than ep1 and really do want to see what they're cooking

Just realize they all have 'rainbow' stripped on their hair, remind me of Death the Kid, even he only have white strips..
Episode 2 is not good... Sayo is dead again... How many time did she died? 3 time? How is she is still 'alive'? The teacher seems to have the 'power' to teleport too.

Guess MOE has no naked scene like the Aquarion original and EvOl. Even the suppose to be 'organism' scene are only a blushing scene here. hehe.
