| I just finished the 4 episodes. Really would have wished for more, but at least this makes it a super easy watch. The 3d-animation really fit the space traversing. Music was great. And while the story left a lot without iyf explanations, the overall feeling of this anime was very ... existential. This is the kind of anime best watched late at night when you're contemplating life and the meaning of it all. The low MAL-rating is a shame, definitely deserves at least a high 7, better yet 8. |

there were mainly 2 reasons why this anime didn't pop out.
1. owned by Disney, we all know how Disney works at this point.
2. it was heavily rushed, I mean, it would give tunnel to the end of the summer a run for its money. such a vast and interesting manga turned into a 4 episode long abomination( not that the animation was bad or something)

| @Otakupervert890 16 volumes is the combined length of 12 story arcs. The TV series crams 5 arcs into 13 episodes, and the other adaptations each cover 1 arc. |
