Part 1 or Part 2?

Is it just me or does everyone feel that they liked 86 Part 2 more than Part 1?
I mean, is it because Part 1 has more battle and fighting scenes than Part 2, which is why I didn't like it as much? Or is Part 2 just better than Part 1?

Taste differs, personally. I like the next few arcs after part 2 more.

I think Part 1 might have been about equal to part 2 if they had built up the side characters that just start disappearing beforehand because there really wasn't any emotional connection to them beforehand. There was an "oh damn there's a lot less now" but that was pretty much it before they start actually having us connect with anyone.

I prefer part 2 mostly because i got to see lena and shin meet each other for the first time, i was really waiting to see that happen and it didn’t disappoint everything was done so perfectly especially the LilaS OST which made that scene so emotional and beautiful (by the way Lilas = Lena is looking at Shin)

is that really what that stands for?!! This music is just a masterpiece. knowing this made me realise this is more than a OST, it's all about the feeling

I don’t know if it’s actually confirmed by the artist but i saw some people spaming it on tiktok and i loved it and if you look at the name of the song “LilaS” the letters “L” and “S” which refer to their names are capital then it kinda makes sense

Part 1 just slightly more- I came into this completely blind and the fact that the crew were losing people left and right so easily upped the stakes so much more, things just felt so oppressively bleak. Reminds me of Edgerunners and how easily people can die.

part 2 is the pay off to part 1's pay off. naturally it feels more rewarding to watch

Both are good, but Part 2's final two episodes makes the emotional payoff all the more worthwhile.

If the series doesn't get an anime continuation, at least it ended on a high note.
