On my first watch when the movie came out in Cinema, I was disapointed... The movie wasn't a great idea since they deleted a lot of stuff from the manga, it was a big rush all over the place focusing more on Hinata and Kenma though that wasn't the case in the manga at all, where almost everybody got their part of the show in that epic battle.
On my seconde watch which happened recently when the Blu-Ray came out, I focused more on the anime leaving the manga background behind me, and I could see that - if we take the original story out of the equation - the movie was actually decent, the animation was fantastic, some visually stunning scenes were there, the directing is great. But I just can't get the idea off my head, that they are planning to end this with a second movie, which is just IMPOSSIBLE, I just can't see how that could happen!

This movie was a lot of fun to watch. Kenma has impressive strategies such as how he won the first set and trying to crush Hinata. Kenma's disappointed expression hurt him.
I loved how we had the final point from Kenma's pov. It was really interesting to see how the players view the game since I have never played volleyball personally.

I am confused. Are we getting 2 more films to end the series or is the next one the final? It would be really underwhelming if they squeezed 3 matches to 1 film.

Everything was moving so fast that I couldn’t process or feel anything like in the anime. There was so much happening that I feel I could have enjoyed it more if it hadn’t been a movie, as everything felt rushed and superficial.

Wow, what a great movie, the first play/jump from Hinata was pure hype and great animated. I also liked the pov from Kenma at the end.
