Rio gets all the gratitude, but he does deserve it. On another note, this episode went back to the happy and cherry vibes again. I guess they did have to rely on Rio to do the dirty work this season. He and his friends all got to eat and enjoy life together again. Such is their life. This season was mixed imo, mostly for pacing. |

Flora finally knowing Haruto as Rio, though honestly, he has no grudge against her for the false accusations he had when he was a young boy, it's just how matters were at the time. Despite both Reiss and Lucius escaping, Flora is finally back to the rightful hands thanks to Haruto, and his work alongside Celia and Aishia is done. But they can't stay for long due to the disguise of their identities, as much as Huguenot can confirm the identities of both Lucius Orgueil and Reiss for both him and Liselotte to look further into the matter. For the last report, and most certainly Haruto wanting to meet Satsuki at the Heroes' introduction party in Galarc, and bringing everyone along for the ride, it's a long-awaited reunion for the coming day ahead. The crowning of the 4 Heroes, plus the reveal of Haruto by his full name, Miharu's shocked expression certainly leaves a cliffhanger for yet another season ahead. But for what Season 2 here is right now, it's objectively worse than Season 1 in all regards. |

This SoL kind of pacing, I love it for some reason, and one of the reasons would be to know each character's point of view—even the mob characters have their dialogues, including the maids. But I was hoping that they would speed up the animation for about 10-20% for more content to be adapted. Anyways, Rio finally revealed his past to his future wife... 🥰🥰🥰 (they omitted this part) (Hiroaki needs to shut his mouth!) But, ending this season with a reunion with the other summoned people, alongside the rest of the people inside the people in the forest, made it a worthwhile season nonetheless. P.S. Miharu having this mysterious power to predict the future, and Princess Flora having finally said thanks and sorry to Haruto was worth the wait, and lastly, a teaser again of all things for the end bit!!!? 😭😭😭 Btw, this S2 wasn't half bad. But if S1 is 10/10 S2 is 7/10 for me... 😅 End notes: S2 is rather slow. in fact, an episode's length can be reduced to 3/4 if they really tried... possibly, |

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

Ok so now Rio's pass time is hurting girls as well. First season it was Sayo now Flora. Flora had jack shit payoff for entire season. It's not like he's not 2/3 timing already so why hurt others. She can keep your secret without getting shunned now. Seriously Rio have to one of these worst mc. Entire season literally accomplished nothing tbf except introduction to japanese people which was done in 1-2 episode after that it's just a waste of time. Absolutely horrendous. It's only good if you want to look at cute anime girls which it does well (Aishia best girl btw) but then again there's a good chance to get screwed over like Sayo & Flora. Worst show of the season by far... Season 3 teasing is good but I doubt it will ever happen anyway. |

@CrazyButNot4U I think the reason they went slow was because they wouldn't have enough time to do the entire banquet plus what proceeds it. Although they will probably condense it down to a single day for the anime if they get a Season 3. If you like the show I recommend reading the light novel series. |

rio wrapping up and doing the dirty work, sasuga the rizzgoat. this season ended on a cliffhanger like s1 so we will probably have a s3. on another note, this season was... boring. s1 was way better than this. the directing and animation were hideous and really subpar tbh. it's obvious that it's a low priority project for tms and they don't gaf about this, which sucks as i like and find the story to be good trash to watch. really wish this would get a new staff but will most likely be the same if a s3 is produced (and I'll still watch it with disappointment ig). |

This season was not as good as the first, but it was good in it own right, so I appreciate it. I am hoping for a 3rd season, because the season opened a can of worms on so many unanswered questions, even while having Rio face off against his sworn enemy. I hope this is not the last that we see of them. |

3.5 year wait for this second season and other than the last two episodes I can’t say it was worth the wait. Most of the season was a nothing burger yapfest, and even when we did have action it looked like a PowerPoint presentation. I’ll still stick around if we get a season 3 because I do want to see more of the heroes, see what Lucius and Reiss’ next steps will be and ultimately who’s pulling their strings. This season felt like a stop gap measure between the real meat and potatoes of the story. Cliffhanger ending wow. Cat is finally out of the bag with Haruto’s real identity, he didn’t think that one thru clearly lol. But I guess Miharu was gonna learn anyway. Reiss is at the banquet too?! Still got the whole drama with Flora to deal with as well. The girls carried this season imo. Other than Lucius it was a snooze fest outside of them |

If it wouldn’t have been for Rio, everyone else would have been dead. He was the real hero of this show and he deserves all the credit. Finally they’ve met again Satsuki Sumeragi after all this time… The first season was much better than this, I feel like the story hasn’t evolved much. |

Put me out of my misery. No season 3 has been announced! On the other hand, they're good, aren't they? They've been telling us a load of crap all along, only to throw in a post-credit scene that makes you want to watch it! Has a lot of potential, but it's ruined by the animation elements. Temporality is super badly managed, and spatiality even more so. Why do you have 2 - 4 mobs in one scene and then 70 pop up out of nowhere with no explanation! And aren't you going to tell me that the guy who sets up his portal to summon other monsters? Well, no, he doesn't, and they're not infinite. We're shown that he has to capture people and then transform them, so he doesn't have an infinite number of them. But what we saw was as if they were infinite. |

To be honest, I feel like the first season, despite not having a lot of fighting or focusing entirely on Haruto's past, had a better pace. This season had several episodes where almost nothing happened, which made it feel like the plot was being stretched out unnecessarily. Still, that time jump at the end and the reveal of Haruto's last name, which led to Miharu finally acknowledging him, were a great way to make me want a third season. |

Alright as expected from before, they don't have time to put the banquet. In fact, its actually still a month from this current timeline? Damn dude this season actually so slow, by the headline of only for Lucius-Rio ass fight with no conclusion, and then with Flora as well. Ngl shit is real. If i have scrap time, i may visit the source material. But as of this sole anime only, unfortunately can't even lift up my whole entertainment aspect. That's it and see you again for the infinite wait of continuation, if any. |

It seems unlikely that Haruto would go to as much effort as he has so far to conceal his identity, only to have it announced to all the people he was trying to conceal it from by a random master of ceremonies rather than disclosing it privately. It's very off-brand for him to A) reveal himself at all and B) to do so in such a showy, public way. Given Miharu's ability, it makes the most sense, to me, that the final scene was a vision, not something that really happened. We already know that her power shows her the future, but not clearly and not always exactly as it actually happens. We also already know that because of this, she has doubts as the veracity of what she sees (she saw Haruto attack Lucius in a way that made her think he killed him, then misinterpreted that, then mistakenly assumed it would mean he would turn evil, then mistakenly assumed that because he seemed normal upon his return that the scene didn't actually happen, when it did, but not quite as she understood it...IE, her ability gives her information, but not exactly a full picture). |

This episode ended EXACTLY like I wanted: the crowning of the 4 heroes, Haruto being there and revealing his full name in the process, and Miharu realising that it's exactly the same name as the Haruto she knows. Unfortunately, though, the season is not this episode alone. The pacing overall was a bit weird, and the animation felt a bit scuffed when compared with the prior season, thus making it a bit worse. With this ending, can we say for sure that we wil have a 3rd season? I certaintly hope so. (Don't know where this season ends in manga/LN chapters, if you know please tell me! (and if possible tell me where to read, can't find any good websites for my life)) With all that said, since I gave season 1 a 9/10, I'll give this one a 7/10. |

@LordJehZeus I did just that when this season started. Most certainly did not regret that. Though I suggest to read it from the start, as they messed with the sequence of events and glossed over a lot of important details to understand the motivations of the characters. edit: The anime is now at volume 8ish of the LN (ignoring the spoilers for most of 9 at the end of the last episode), out of 26 (25 in English) released so far. |

Well now we know more about Lucius’ past and a possible reason why he’s turned evil. Did this lead to him killing Rio’s mother and everything in between, or was he always twisted. It’s obvious that Rio is bothered by the fact that he wasn’t able to kill Lucius due to Reiss’ interference, and Lucius will now have to increase his strength in unnatural ways to be able to put up a fight against Rio. We’ll see how that goes. It seems that Miharu has the ability to see into Rio’s life, as she saw the fact that Rio is hell bent on avenging his mother and the Galarc party where the heroes are being introduced (albeit she will be there to see Satsuki Sumeragi, but still what is this ability of hers). We’ll see how this series progresses in the future… |

I'm so happy I got to see Latifa one last time ❤️ There should be an arc about Haruto and Latifa going on an adventure, just them, no one else, kinda like when he adopted her in S1, that would be fun! This season ended with the same shit the 1st one did, a post-credits scene that spoils something we will see in the future, but if I compare to what was shown in S1 then I guess it will not be the exact same... it's weird, BUT, the thing is, if they are going to show us that, then a 3rd season should come soon, like, in 1 year or so, don't make us wait 3 fkng years again lol This show is for me what people calls a guilty pleasure, it is bad, and goofy, and is poorly animated, the plot and characters are mid at best (not Latifa, she is the best ❤️) but for some reason I find joy watching it lol |

CrazyButNot4U said: P.S. Miharu having this mysterious power to predict the future, and Princess Flora having finally said thanks and sorry to Haruto was worth the wait, and lastly, a teaser again of all things for the end bit!!!? Miharu did not predict the future. Miharu learns all these information about Haruto/Rio due to her contract with Aishia. Well explained in the LN but not in the anime. Teaser at the end is common among HJ titles. Even in their other series. That is how I ended up reading 25 volumes of Seirei Gensouki or 16 volumes of Magicmaster. :/ Now for my thoughts on the episode: My eyes are rolling at the amount of cut content again. >_> Volume 8 cut content on Flora thoughts: Rio denies he is the same dude as Flora knows in the past, which leads to Flora crying more. Flora was still heartbroken along the journey when Rio carries Flora back to Amande. At the scene where Rio carries Flora into the mansion. Flora lied about her legs being numb because she wants to stick to Rio longer. And was stunned/sad when Rio has to put her down onto the couch. Some LN cut content on how Liselotte allows Rio to bring Miharu into the Galarc Ball: Rio mentioned to Liselotte about his accomplices who he want to bring to Galarc, mentioning that they are acquainted with Satsuki. Liselotte replied that she wants to meet them to verify them. Rio went ahead to bring Miharu to Liselotte mansion. Liselotte starts speaking to Miharu in Japanese to verify her identity and able to sniff out Rio as the other reincarnater on the same bus and went on to ask about the elementary school girl sitting next to her, which is Latifa. Rio mentioned that she is his current sister and Liselotte also wants to meet her. Liselotte then agreed to ask her parents to invite both Rio and Miharu into Galarc ball. According to the ending of the episode, looks like the anime is going to deviate from the LN again. >_> The king is not the one who decides Rio’s surname as Amakawa and proceed to call him Haruto Amakawa. Reiss sets up another invasion at the Galarc Ball and Rio does his things again as an isekai protagonist. The Galarc king (I don’t remember his name), appoints Rio as an honourary knight of Galarc, telling Rio to choose a last name. Since his current first name is Haruto, Rio decided to choose his Japanese last name, that line is the one that stunned Miharu, proving that Rio is indeed the reincarnation of her crush, hinted by Aishia’s contract. Satsuki looks sexy in that night gown. XP And Lilianna’s bosom looks amazing in the anime as compared to the LN. XP I definitely did not read too much ecchi LNs recently. Seirei Gensouki LNs sell well in Bookwalker so sequel is expected. Well, I don’t really enjoy the Galarc Ball arc because Celia is a minor character in that arc. :/ I like the arc after Galarc Ball more, Escorting Christina arc, because Celia and Christina are the main heroines of that arc. :D |

What a disappointment! This season was a significant step down from the last one. It felt like utter trash, and I hope that if there's a third season, we don't get a repeat of this. Watching the story unfold was painful all season long. The pacing and animation were terrible, and the plot was weak to non-existent. Overall, it was a complete failure. There was no real development, and we’re still stuck in a quagmire. I can’t believe that Haruto didn’t at least kill that pompous character, Lucious. If he had, it might have made things a bit more bearable, but they couldn’t even manage that. Haruto's reaction to Flora was also frustrating. Even though she was a coward for not standing up for him in that situation, she eventually acknowledged her mistake and spoke the truth. It was a bit late, but at least it was a step in the right direction. Miharu finally realizing that Haruto is her long lost friend fell flat as well. Does that mean his little sister doesn't even recognize him? Shouldn’t she be able to? I’m so confused, but honestly, I don't care anymore. This anime lost me a long time ago. Oh well, you win some, you lose some. Hiroaki is still annoying as fuck, the less he speaks the better. Someone needs to put that useless piece of shit in his place, preferably Haruto. That would be worth a watch. 🤣🤣 |

I'm sorry I'm just confused by all these characters being introduced. All of them look like they're same template with different hairstyles and cloth colors. The last scene with heroes being introduced esp. was hilarious, at one point I think they introduced same hero twice in a row (but they were different heroes). It doesn't help that Japanese names tend to all mostly sound similar, making you forget who is who unless you're REALLY paying attention to every damn character being introduced. Same issue with the MC's harem in that stupid fairy village where all girls start to blend in. I think there was a dark skinned one, but she has been swollen by the fair colored harem ho's simping for the MC. Other than that last fight between MC and the antagonist he was hunting, basically, an underwhelming season. Just more of the same as the first one. What a disappointment. While we're at it, MC in this commits the worst sin of a OP main character. He is OP, has no personality, and has a harem which he doesn't even pay attention to, which means he'll end up with some generic love interest from his previous life with worst personality than rest of the other harem cast. It's impressive how anime writers don't get better over time, they just get worse. |
