It seems that DBS manga will return. Maybe not in a form many of us would like to see (no hiatus, regular monthly release), but new content is new content, after all. And a good sign too. Perhaps this one-shot, that'll be released on April 2025, will be the first step of a genuine return of DBS manga.

@ImagineSisyphus Yeah, judging by the promo image, it should take place around the Super Hero arc. For now, it's not certain whether it will be set before, during, or after the events of said arc. We will learn more details soon, I guess.

The article I shared also pointed it out:

The one-shot seems to feature Trunks and Goten in leading roles, and will presumably take place around the Super Hero section of the series' overall timeline.

So in february we get that and (please god, fucking please) Super continues the next month, we get one more arc and then we get into new territory (post End of Z)

Toriyama created this universe and he chose Toyotaro as his succesor, for a reason, people doubting him are crazy, he's not some random guy, Toriyama chose him and mentored him. People say his AF manga sucks, but this is post-Toriyama training arc Toyotaro.

I never met that man, but god damn I cried when I heard the news, it felt like part of my childhood was gone.
