Narsena standing up to a possessed Mist really shows how much she's grown.

Wish I could care more about Mist himself. He seemed like a thoughtful person but ended up being the vessel of an evil dragon. Kinda crazy how this episode went down but still predictable. Pretty average show imo, they went with the direction that is just mediocre in nature.

The second wave of the labyrinth uprising, and it's even tougher on everyone's end, including Ralma holding the fort with her shield. Hanzum seeing no end, decides to stop Laust's healing, even though he knew he was manipulated in one way or another from Mist. But Laust seeing him as a close friend, as much advised to leave Mardat, Narsena doesn't quite see it that way for selfish living, but with a purpose. For now, while Amherst's reward goading allows adventurers to push back the horde, it's with Laust and the gang to keep the Evil Dragon within Mist at bay.

Keeping the fairy tale tradition alive, Narsena is kept back as the Sleeping Princess as Laust tries his best to attack Mist directly, though outwitted no thanks to the overwhelming concentrated mana. Even if she has to put the Evil Dragon to sleep for 10 years, it's still a substantial amount of time of sacrifice, so much so that it triggers Laust to become the monster uncontrollable for Narsena to stop him. Her knowing the goody-two-shoes nature of Laust, and choosing to bear his burden, evicts the Evil Dragon out of Mist, thus passing his life amicably.

Welp, Hanzum passing the branch Guild master to Amherst, she fits the role perfectly. But for now, since there's no hero of legend, the journey to take this for Laust with Narsena is the path forward.

+1 to the list of bad works to be given even worse adaptations, this show is not worth salvaging at the end of the day.

So it stops just before going on adventure. To spend 12 episodes on a single town, it acts as if it has hundred episodes under its belt.

Hey Laust, Narsena, ya dummies, if the 2 of you are going 'round the world on a quest by yourselves, YOU DO IT AS A COUPLE. Every Little inn, campsite, big city hotel, whatever, you bang each others' brains out every night and every morning. So get with it, dual confessions and sex ever after.

So, they don't even kill the dragon, they just make it go to bed for ten years. They also end it off with them leaving to find the hero, although we will never see that.

I'm telling you, this is what One Piece thinks it has, peak storytelling.

So Big Bro is something far more powerful than the evil dragon? Oof
Happy ending with them effectively marrying in my eyes.

So miss moneybags over here is now the guild master hahaha, with dirt bag Hanzam stepping down. I wonder what the hero they find will be like, we may never know.

Even the evil dragon was afraid of that form Laust has, he did quite a number on it.
A journey together for Laust & Narsena to end that show, nice.

Good anime from start to finish.

I wasn't even going to watch this show but Narsena showed up with a hard carry, she was still pretty cute till the end, this show is the perfect example of a 5~6 / 10 anime.

this show was incredibly average in every way. there wasn't a stellar or standout or amazing moment in this finale or the other 11 episodes. it was like the director told every team,

'guys... this one is just a money-maker. don't kill yourselves! don't even exhaust yourselves! everybody goes home on-time or early every day! vacations and sick and personal days will be given how however anybody needs them! we're going to get this show completed, but in the most relaxing and downright LAZY ways possible! now, let's break for a 2h lunch! then get started!'

it was entertaining... but in that kinda... meh... plain ol normal square white-bread toast you have every day... with butter or margarine you put on it every day... not even a trace of jam or jelly or marmalade in sight... nothing more than what the bare minimum life would need to continue.
just an ol school American otaku enjoyin the life. don't sass me kiddies, i've been otaku probably since before you were born. leave me in peace and i won't bother you either.

Good ending episode of a good series with very good moments, several protagonized by Narsena and her feelings for Laust.

If Laust and Narsena would form a couple, the ending episode would be better, but... Laust is an ignorant man, is not he?

The show was like a solid five to be honest. I felt they spent all that time and teased the power just for it to be so anticlimactic. But at least they go on an adventure and he is stronger than the dragon. Though I am confused on what was the point in saying you like her or rather teasing it for him not to bring it up on the last episode. Granted he did say it changed from what he was planning on saying!

Bro defeats the evil dragon (even if only a shade), has a power that is uncontrollable to all but the Sleeping Princess, and has pulled off a ton of feats that left other adventurers speechless... but yeah sure. He *totally* isn't the hero.

Also, that fight was so lackluster. Way to go out on a dud. Narsena didn't even get a confession out of it either.

This episode alone brought my overall scoring of the show down 2 points.

this show felt like so fake. It is as if a child were to write a fantasy story where nothing ever goes wrong and pays more attention to adding plot details rather than expanding on any one aspect.

If I have to choose one word for this anime it's lazy. Everything is trodding along in a rather well trod path be it animation, music, storytelling and so on with nice comfy stops frequently so as not to tire.

The only thing that bugs me is what or who is Laust really? Teasing us watchers like this is just plain unfair. :/

dear God what a lazy ass show from start to end.

Laziest end fight ever. Slow stabbing for the final attack? Really?

The siren fight was completely useless.

Most characters designs are super generic. We got wish.com trigun at the end, and Shiroe with healing powers as our MC.

Laust's power never being fully explained was a shit idea. Why even bother? A healer that can only use heal, but is strong enough to one shot three minotaurs without any help? why is he a healer? Be an assassin or something...

The ONLY redeeming part of this show was Narsena. She's cute as a button, and the only reason this isn't lower on my list.

Overall a 1.6/5 ending and a 3/10 overall.

They should rename it to "Forgettable overpowered trash generic MC is banished but is joined by a cute fighter"

I really loved this series since the first episode, but when I think more about it, the potential of this being a great series was definitely destroyed at some point in time, and degenerated into something of a mediocre of a series.

The characters were likable, but only some of them were decent, and it's mostly Narusena...

The animation was great, but it somehow lacks something. Narusena always makes this series great...

6.5 or 7 / 10.
but in reality, it's around 5.5.

I will miss Narusena's character and the ED most of all!
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

Well, well, this was a fucking disaster.

The story crumbled around itself, and everything was left on Ralma's shoulders. She literally held up the second wave by herself, and it went way easier than the first one, despite them saying it would be harder. The second wave only had Goblins and Orcs, while the first had Griffons and Fenrirs. It's clear that the show didn't even attempt to build the tension properly, and the second wave felt like a letdown in comparison.

The whole setup, pacing, and execution just fell apart in the final stretch.

My dude! The entire animation was lacking. In fact, it was non-existent at various points in the episode.

We literally had a slideshow of people holding swords and monsters exploding. They couldn't even bother to animate the sword strikes.

Earlier in the season I would have called this a solid 6, but the last few episodes dropped it down to a 5, and finally a 4 as it dipped below just okay to a boring mess.

There was potential in the concept, execution? Not so much.

I'm partly curious who Laust is. Ominous powers and the black dragon doesn't recognize him as the hero. It would be funny turns out he's the reincarnated demon lord.

Nice finale. Liked the fact that Narsena didn't have to sacrifice herself, but didn't like the fact that we still had 0 clue what Laust's secret power was. Nevertheless, was a fun anime for the time being. Confused if there would be a second season of this, but if there would be, would like to watch it. Was a fun ride.

I am not sure how they based their definition of "strongest"? I mean if they referred to his "super saiyan" form, and he only shown it twice in the whole series and we don't even know why he has such a power.

I didn't expect much from this series and I didn't get much.

So that's the end of the story... I think the graphic needs to be much smoother by using a lot of animation rather than static images. The story is quite good but easier to guess...

I didn't expect much from this series and I didn't get much.

I found it hilarious that apparently the rulers of the country? Continent? World? knew a possible world ending event was about to happen with some cataclysmic entity appearing AND that a person that's maybe even stronger which might be at least slightly capable of stopping this allowed walking around with high odds of being killed anytime. From the looks of it they're calmly sipping tee or something waiting for a letter saying what's going on.

What a disappointment! There wasn't even a hug or kiss to advance the relationship. I guess it's better than nothing, but this anime really fell short; it had so much potential to be better. Oh well, I don’t foresee a second season at all.

it enden like it wanted a season 2, i didnt like that the characters really didnt develop with the plot it felt really stale, the power that the mc had was the most underwhelming showing only twice because he never needed to show it again, if it has a second season (which it probably wont) i hope it will develop the characters more because they feel very boring.

All the way to the very end, even the fearsome evil dragon will patiently watch a party run to their teammates side (which is dumb for everyone to do in an actual dangerous situation) and watch them heal him. Most polite baddies ever. And how romantic; they stabbed him together! ๐Ÿ™„ The only thing I'm surprised they didn't do is say that the evil dragon is another person from Laust past, but if they get another season I'm sure they'll say that it's his true extradimentional deadbeat dad or something that left him for somehow being an "ignoramus".

This is just a continuation of dumb all around.

The wall depends on the endurance of one person instead of taking shifts to keep it up indefinitely.
The evil dragon completely ignores the party just chilling under the tree.
He continues to ignore them after stabbing Laust and allows them to come to heal him.
Supposedly the sleeping princess power only lasts 10 years, but it's been much longer than that since the last escape.
Nobody knows what Laust's alternate form is but somehow "if he stays like that he can't change back" like wtf do you know that?
Narsena gets him to change back very easily both times, and again stops him from actually killing the big bad.
So they do a slow stab in the end (the implication is that with the dragon weakened, Mist was able to hold him in place to get stabbed, but this wasn't shown very well).
The dragon flees after the stab, then everyone stands around looking sad instead of USING THEIR F'ING HEALING MAGIC (given Mist's injuries were way less severe than Laust's or even Hanzum's, that should have been easy).
And then there's not even any romance payoff in the end, they just wander off into the sunset looking for the hero, who apparently isn't Laust despite his hidden power.

And I'm sure I'm forgetting other dumbness cascades.
