THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
Poor Heidi is reaching her limits, she wants to go home. But it seems that, as long as Clara is satisfied to keep her as a pet, she can be as miserable as she "wants" and no one is going to care about it. They are just going to guilt-trip or emotionally blackmail her. The girl can't even say that she misses what she misses without feeling guilty about it now.

The 'white figure' is probably just her in a sleepwalking state or something, let's see if Clara's father is going to show some compassion or if he is just going to ignore Heidi's pain as well.

There is a limit to how much a child can take. The people in the household are restricting Heidi's pain through emotional means. Heidi, an 8-year-old child manipulated into leaving her home all of a sudden, and Clara, a sick child who lost the ability to walk. Both of these desires conflict against each other. I understand where they're coming from, I do. This whole situation is complicated, and a middle ground seems difficult to attain. I could blame Rottenmeier all I want, who is becoming more intolerable by the second, but the real blame lies in Heidi's aunt, Dete. Her self-centered actions brought this situation in hand.

Nonetheless, we have a little mystery spooking around the house. Wonder what's up with that.

This show got really sad. I thought this would be a joyous ride about mountain life. Granted i never read the original book (and don't intend to tbh)
