| not sure if i should dislike Anna for blackmailing and the rest or laughing because how much she's still entertaining for that entire cold opening. Shikiya, great, she couldn't miss in the season final episode... and crazier than ever. "Why this school uniform must have four ribbons?" yeah, i was asking the same since some episodes ago. From teacher to teacher... both weirdos in their own way, but especially the nurse. Lemon and Komari actually thought this was a kind of adults date? LOL Oh, no, i wanted to actually watch the kart racing part. His sister is stalking? Yeah, not surprised (also, already imagining the day she will became a aunt, jeez, slow down) ...the flying f...? Kokuki is stalking too / again from a even further distance? Sosuke and Karen did so much damage... but the ferris wheel was a clever choice to end it all. So, this is a anime original ending. It will be a shame if the adapted story won't be resumed as a result, because this bunch of characters isn't bad at all, especially the main female lead, and including... the weirder ones. 7,5 or 8/10, more or less. Sometimes i felt like i was losing interest, but the show always did something later to turn it back on. |

| I don't get the love for this show, I was bored most of the time. ML was a plank of wood and Komari was just annoying. The quiet, shy, stuttering thing has no appeal. Lemon really didn't have much to do do other than produce fanserice. Yanami was the best of the group and who I assume will be the focus later but she was so obviously friendzoning the ML that I got nothing from their interaction. Other female characters were there for one note ecchi nonsense. Overall I just see this as three girls whining about their failed relationships to dull as dishwater ML with some dull club activities to kill time. I see people saying that the "romance" in this so called "romcom" (didn't find it funny either) will become more prominent next season but I don't know if I'll bother finding out. I do hope the focus will go to one girl and not make a harem where two of these girls are going to have to lose yet again. |

| A whole episode about Anna faking having a boyfriend, I guess we are back to the plot about losing Heroines after all, watching this anime i feel it is very solid especially those first four episodes when they really were just "losing Heroines" This episode was very cute, I wonder if they were implying something between Nukumizu and Anna, (romantic) maybe ill have to read the manga to find out. I really enjoyed this anime and i cant wait/ hope for a second season but I have a feeling that that is years away now. Nevertheless i can say i am glad to have watched this anime and got to spend some time with Nukumizu, Anna, Komari, Lemon, Not Kaju I really don't like Kaju, Tsukinoki and the others. Great anime. |
| Wow this was quite boring. Nothing really happens. The comedy is mediocre and the romance is non-existent. It's a typical and nonsensical high school drama where 3 girls cope with rejection with help from the dull main character who involuntarily becomes their emotional support animal. This is basically a slice of life anime masquerading as a romcom. The only good thing I found is the animation quality. I guess their anime team did a great job with marketing considering the hype. |
| Can't a guy just eat some melonpan without having to be a therapist? Grabbing Nukumizu with chopsticks, Yanami was not going to let him leave without solving her problem, evening threatening to use Nishikawa, instead. He suggests letting Hakamada know but she blackmails him on mailing the hidden stash of novels and manga back to his house. What else can literature club nerds do than to turn Yanami's fake boyfriend project into a story. Konami's still the losing heroine as a teacher. The last episode wouldn't be complete without zombie gal looking like she's from a slasher flick. Basori says that everyone is thinking..."WHY DOES THIS DUMB UNIFORM NEED TO HAVE FOUR RIBBONS?!" Not wanting to empty his wallet on Yanami for this date project, Nukumizu readily accepts free park passes from that freak of a nurse Konuki. Anna's description of the fake boyfriend's backstory is just cribbed from her relationship with Nukumizu; who is the one that usually pays. Lemon and Chika also want boyfriends that fit that description 😆 The charade is more something Nukumizu has to put up with than something he gets nervous about. He ends up going on rides with all three girls. Kaju goes way beyond looking out for her elder brother Anna got downgraded from otter to ediacaran fauna 😭 Nuku reciting the last fact was savage af Lemon thinking the dinosaurs were kaiju and that elephants have nose bones 😭 Kaju remote-accessed the damn camera on his phone? She's gonna end up either like Konuki or Asagumo in the future. Markein kek Witnessing Sousuke and Karen "cheap thrill" had to be Anna's worst moment that day. Ah, that voyeur nurse gave that couple free passes too. Shiny-headed Asagumo and Ayano narrowly avoided being spied on by saving their free passes for another day (it takes a stalker to know a stalker). Nukumizu misses the point of Anna's complaint at the shooting gallery by saying Sosuke and Karen should've done it in private (foreshadowing?) Anna's lie gets more elaborate. Nukumizu pokes one hole in her "buying a present for a friend" caption and Anna ends up imagining an American Karen that her imaginary boyfriend dumps her for. While Nukumizu delivers a funny inner monologue, I think the fear of losing to a homewrecker yet again is what prompted Anna to take Nukumizu to the ferris wheel. All that remote camera access by the little spy sister Kaju has drained Nukumizu's phone battery. Nukummizu backpedals on hoping she'd find a boyfriend soon, instead suggesting it will happen naturally when she spends time with someone, as love is not something one can force. Anna retorts that such an approach failed with Sosuke (waited too long and Sosuke confessed to Karen, instead). Before, Nukumizu bluntly said he'd hope she finds a boyfriend soon to shut her up, but he also said before they had to be good friends for 2-3 years before he'd consider asking her out (a hint that the slow approach is what Anna should take with him). Byzantine has had enough of Konuki's voyeurism (something more intimate happened 10 years ago on the ferris wheel). I don't know if she gave a mouth kiss, cheek kiss or just treated him to some Anna ASMR, but the interaction convinced her to take a break from her boyfriend hunt. Since Sosuke and Karen were at the park, the concocted lie is going nowhere now. Anna has the usual solution for her stress; food. Nukumizu doesn't have to worry about emptying his wallet for she has a voucher...or so he thought. She has no fare for the train! Lemon and Chika want to know what they did up there. Innocence? |

| Wow, I never thought I'd grow to like Yanami, though I did hope for that. She's just a girl afterall. The plot was lost in the middle episodes, but here it is again!      I'm afraid this is the last we'll see of ultimate imouto unless/until this gets another season.. "Anime original" seems to suggest this is the end here, unfortunately.       AND WHY ARE THEY SO FREAKY LOL  eh? So they didn't really kiss? I was so excited!! Why do I like yanami-san so much now!?? I hope they really do end up together, or am I an idiot?  I'm not so satisfied with this ending, but I am happy. This is the same feeling I got after finishing Nisekoi. Suddenly, it was never that serious. Suddenly, I love each character, every scene, each word. All of their traits were properly displayed here, and I guess since I know this is the end, I paid even more attention to the little details, appreciating them even more. Suddenly, the ending song sounds perfect!!  |
