Bleach just hit the 400th episode mark!

The latest TYBW Part 3 Episode 8 was the 400th episode. Such a milestone, Bleach has always been one of my faves growing up. Glad that it's still relevant to this day!

well...nice to hear that, it's still have less episodes compare to the other two of big three but I'm glad now that we can say like bleach have 400+ episodes !

Bleach has more chapters than Naruto yet less episodes.

One Piece almost has as many episodes as it does chapters.

All of these anime have their problems, some have a lot of filler some have atrocious pacing.

Naruto beats Bleach chapter wise by a bit (Bleach has 686 chapters and Naruto has 700 flat). Still agree that more episodes/chapters ≠ better, it certainly can (like OP manga is a masterpiece and has 1133 chapters as of now) but it’s not required

having many episodes is usually an indicator that the show is popular enough to be airing for that long

More episode = Popularity and Good ratings. Atleast back when Naruto, Bleach and One piece were airing together. Usually if a thing can air that long, that means there's an audience for it.
But nowadays due to the cour system, People frown upon 100+ episode anime but back then, It was the sign of a flourishing anime.

Not so much because of the cour system, rather because people have realised that quantity of content always came at the expense of quality as adaptations quickly catch up to the manga and run out of content, leading to fillers (not that bad imho), padding (worst thing ever), and other shenanigans to stretch out the amount of content in the source material and keep the anime going.

what you are wrong one piece anime has a slightly bad pacing but one piece manga is currently best paced what do you mean it does not need that much episode and oda sensei does not continue making manga because of its popularity but rather its his dream of drawing manga according to his pace so you can't say it is badly paced

@sDluffy no you misunderstood me. I agree that OP manga has good pacing and I 100% agree that it couldn’t be much shorter. I’m just saying that a shit ton of chapters isn’t required for a story to be good

ha ok understood you meant that a story does not need 1000 chapter to be good

but one piece is a masterpiece is what i think and if you can invest 28 years of your life it will be masterpiece in every aspect

but there are other masterpiece too like every work of mangaka of monster and pluto

Yes that is true, but it doesn’t mean that it’s better. For example, a one piece anime with a normal chapter to episode ratio ≈ 250 episodes, would be way more enjoyable to watch.
