| It is this hard. You'll get another and Stronger hit at the very beginning of S2. S3 will be even more impactful with higher stakes (more alien focused). So you can put faith, that the upcoming seasons will get better and better. (If there's no studio change or production issues) |

| @ImranH Yeah I don't that it's just a tragic backstory....we get plenty of those....disease, truck-kun, etc. I think its the shock of HOW. Daughter kidnapped to be sold off(sex or organs) by yakuza is not on the usual bingo card list. Also credit to the director and editors on how they put that scene together....no music just her screaming....then silence. |

| I expected a sad backstory considering the Turbo's Granny backstory but that was just more sad than I expected. The animation, sound, pacing and the tone were just so well done. |

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.  |
| It was always supposed to go this hard, I am day one manga reader and since then I realised one thing that if animated correctly this series will establish itself with a good fanbase, needless to say its not for everyone which is a good thing. Also before the anime was announced too many creators also said nice things about it. Manga is genuinely one of the best new gen shounen (I said one of the best not the best so spare me) |
