Well that was a heavy episode

Pucci kept trying to solve everything himself, which led to terrible consequences.

Interesting and bizarre flashback (possibly the best so far in Jojo's), but...

I think this flashback is best, coz of not just how it relates Pucci and Weather but also Pucci's main goal of attaining heaven

Damn that was a pretty big shift. I guess this means heavy weather will probably team with JoJo tho because they both want to kill Pucci

Just love how the justice throw weather in jail because his the only survivor and probably know why he would kill everyone in the village, but they didn't care beforehand, nice representation the KKK days.

That was so good!
An excellent tragic backstory for both Pucchi and Weather, sympathetic for everyone involved (racists excluded of course). What makes it special though is that Pucchi doesn't feel like a villain anymore. That's wild!

As awful as Netflix handled their release, I can understand them splitting it into thirds. Each one feels like a substantial jump in quality. This Heavy Weather arc is becoming one of my favorite JoJo arcs. I think I still overall like parts 2 and 4 more, but if part 6 keeps it up, who knows? I don't think it will pass Diamond just because I loved the whole experience there, but it could very well top Battle (even if Joseph will forever be my favorite JoJo).

Interesting backstory, but yeah, that happens when people overcomplicate things instead of using simple solutions, but if Pucci did that, there would be no story, lol.
It still didn't explain why Weather has a secondary ability to produce rainbows that turns people into snails unless that is another feature of his Stand.

how is araki's writing still getting better?

what a fucking episode. wow.

tbh the only thing that I would change is that I would drag something a little more, just to end the episode on the backstory.

the final shot being on the car doesn't really end the episode on the proper note.

but other than that small nit pick, it's fucking perfect.

This episode was phenomenal!

Enrico should have just told his sister the truth and asked her to keep it a secret. That idiot!

That was one hell of a backstory. Perla's line, "There will never be a drop of rain in my heart." really hits hard. And the way Weather says, i need someone to kill me and wants to rely on Anase was truly an amazing moment.

Insane, Pucci's backstory has got to be some of the most unfortunate and tragic backstories I've seen from all of Jojo's villains, in fact. It may just be THE most tragic backstory in Jojo. The Narrator brought up a great point as to who is to blame for this series of misfortunes. The woman who swapped Weather's place with her dead baby? Pucci's impulsive and thoughtless decision? Weather and Perla loving each other, not knowing that they're both biological siblings? The KKK racists only made things worse which is the catalyst that killed Perla, made Weather suffer for decades with no memories and transformed Pucci into the person he is now.

This entire backstory is so painful, but so beautifully written. Amazing episode, truly. What a great representation of a tragedy befalling a relatively harmless family. Now the world will pay for it has birthed a new idea within Pucci's mind. A desire to attain Heaven.

So Pucci and Weather are twins, and the girl is their little sister? ;A;/ I get total Star Wars + Romeo and Juliet vibes from this backstorys, I bet mr. araki was inspired by it 🕶️

Great stuff, probably best backstory in all of JoJos so far. Real Classical Greek tragedy vibes, with Japanese manga flavor of course. Playing with a classical theme of fate and justice of God - legitimacy of God's inherent goodness. That was probably the moment Pucci lost his faith. And not for the bad reason - he was in the wrong, sure, taking an easy way out of a trap born out of his indecisiveness, lacking empathy for his own lost brother, but he wasn't malicious, he legit felt like he was trapped by the circumstance (a God's will? Then why?) No wonder he turned to Dio for answers and for a hope to make things right. I think he's the best JoJo villain so far.

P.S. 141 hater voters? On this 5/5 material? Come on! Is this some kind of retarded 4chan flashmob or something? Rating of 1/5 is something of Mars of Destruction caliber, no way you can feel justified to rate episode like this that low. Or is this social networks echo-chamber magnifying effect when people push each other into an extremely negative sentiment?

Holy shit, easily one of the best backstories in all of Jojo. Makes me glad that I did not skip this part to go directly to Part 7. Them Part skippers really missing out.
