I'm sad to see this series go, seeing I read it since the beginning. But finally after 2 years of its completion, the last chapter gets translated.

I would've loved it better if there was a kissing scene at the end but in the end, it isn't really that important than the current Kouhei and Erika. It has it's own charm so to speak.

That was surprisingly nice read. I came for harem, stayed for story :D Some things weren't explained clearly and tbh I preferred anime in that regard. Art was also not too nice for me. On the other hand Iori, Sei, Kirikiri and Shiro were so awesome I could read it just for them.

Just one thing bothers me:
I think I misunderstood some part, but it seems like it ends with Erika losing immortality (that one is sure), while Kouhei is stuck being immortal (coz he can't get rid of red crystal shards). Or maybe he is only partially vampire, which would be confirmed by his wounds not healing instantly, and is aging normally?

@edit
After some googling:
According to sirflimflam's post on reddit in VN true ending it's stated that they both have "extended longevity", making it more clear that they can have their happy ending.

What a nice cultural festival, which unlike the anime it was in the last 2 chapters of the manga and there was never the fireworks bite scene which I found just beautiful, to end off the manga.
I'm really happy with the turn the manga took compared to the anime since it really focused on expanding every single major character and especially Kaya who still is by far not redeemable but she is taking her own steps to look after her 2 children properly as their mother firstly and most importantly and then as a vampire for the place she built for them.

If anything, I would definitely love to see a kiss scene for the finale once more but the earlier kiss scene in the room was too sweet to forget and the way the manga was finished really feels like a Kouhei x Erika on point scene~

Overall I'm really glad I actually went ahead and finished this manga after 9 years from when I first watched the anime and from the nostalgia hit my rewatch gave me. Such a wholesome read for someone like me who is reading very specific manga.
