This case is getting more and more eerie. Looks like the manager is suspected of being involved with the dead surfer although they had a solid alibi.

Episode had some classic detective vibes as they looked for evidence to prove who caused the murder. A lot of decent deductive reasoning and analysis through detective work. That manager guy is so damn annoying, probably one of the most arrogant character I've seen from this anime.

Good ep. I had guessed the trick would involve ice since we saw a small chunk of it at the start of last episode. Wonder who that guy at the end was...

I'm flat out wrong because I thought the shop manager is just too obvious to be a murderer. But on the other hand, it's also a proof that I'm not a manga spoiler, because sometimes my predictions are so accurate that people accuse me of breaking MAL rule by bringing manga spoiler into the anime discussion.

Max, Molly, and another one, which might be the name that begin with M..... Moriarty?

I was hoping that there was some twist or whatsoever but it is indeed the manager lol. Still, always nice to learn how they did the crime rather than just finding out who did it.

Max, Molly and... ???.
We know Ron is a descendant of Moriarty-Holmes but which is which? (Im assuming the Father is from the Moriarty bloodline and that one from the memory is probably him???)

Poor Spitz was left out, please invite him next time.

Ah so it was the manager after all as I figured that would've been too obvious but at least the explanation on how he did it was pretty good. Btw TIL that by putting salt on ice cubes it can make them stick together, interesting.

While this case may have been an isolated one without any connection to the House of M it still showed progression in regards to Ron's disability with making the culprits take their lives.

this case was utterly stupid, but at least Ron got some medication. maybe should try an anxiolytic or anti-psychotic, but really idk what the heck is wrong with him. also who gets hit in the face with an eagle?

I knew it was him. They were just too obvious. Of course, this is not part of the main plot, other than him using the drug.

Did anyone clock his eye was brown while under the influence of the medicine while it's normally blue?

They got us today with the old “nah no way it could be that, that’s too obvious” answer lol. Did not think the shop keeper was actually the culprit. Thought he was just a scummy and cheap owner, but to actually put bro on a raft made of ice and send him out to sea is crazy. Pretty straightforward one to solve and that town is definitely better off without him around

S/O to Mofu for slapping the taste out his damn mouth too. More importantly, we now have a medicine for Ron to prevent his murderous spell when solving cases so that’s good. Nice lull in the action before the next confrontation with Moriarty

Whelp, guess the beach restaurant owner was the culprit after all, so much for thinking there was more to this case lol, dude was just a fuck all around, terrible owner, terrible boss, and terrible person, I was happy to see Mofu slap the stupid out of him, now how can I get her to do the same to me lol. That was quite the crafty kill tho on the owner’s part, when they discovered salt in the sand I was like “okay, where does that get us” but they put together that the dude made a damn ice raft and sent the victim out to sea, yeah that’s evil lol.

But I guess the real point of this arc was to show that Ron can now solve cases without killing the culprits, I mean he already had Toto that kinda stopped that from happening but this makes things easier. This arc also had some of my favorite Ron bits in the show so far, this episode in particular had one I loved where he kept saying he was joking just to fuck with the restaurant owner lol, hope they keep the zingers rolling. And the after credits scene was pretty interesting, I guess this art loving guy is gonna be a new villain, I wonder what crazy case will come of this. And lastly, RIP Spitz lol, I thought they mentioned inviting him before, not sure how he didn’t realize they went without him but it’s a funny end to this arc.

I knew it as the manager while at the same time not thinking it was him bc it was too obvious but I was right let’s goooooo u love the detective Conan vibes🤩

The more I see Mofu the more I love her man I deadass couldn’t stop staring at her in her bikini her body is fucking HOT, her clumsiness is so goddamn cute I love it, her pink hair and eye patch and bandages are the cherry on top for her design + that slap she gave to the manager was oddly well animated and kinda hot as hell to me😩

Post credit scene was ominous with the new murderer named Hummingbird I wonder how twisted this new guy is🤔

I had feeling it had to do with ice but i made an overly complicated guess since i didnt know ice came in smooth blocks like that industrially

Nice slap by Mofu

Ron solved the drowning case as murder and pinned it on the beachside stall manager.

This case was honestly pretty lame, showing the ice in the first episode pretty much gave the solution away when the stand being out of shaved ice should have been enough of a clue for the audience.

The manager was also so cartoonishly evil I thought he was a red herring, but alas it really was him.

Luckily the next case looks to be much more interesting.

Glad they didn't make the manager a red herring because he was being hella suspicious. The meds worked on Ron but he has to take two pills?

Mofu-sensei is pretty awesome hopefully she can tweak it so they won't need the house of M's info. This whole antidote thing is giving me flashbacks to Conan becoming Shinichi.

On another note, I was expecting Spitz to just show because he has a bug on them. Thought he would have a tracker too but I guess not.

What a genius plan. I wonder how much time he spent on that raft, hoping that
a) the victim wouldn't wake up, and
b) nobody would come looking for him in the meantime.

You know, the episode was good, the mystery behind the murder was smart, but to be honest, I don't like the fact they are taking away Ron's ability/curse. I find that a big part of his character and by stripping him off of that idk what uniqueness is left to this series in comparison to other detective anime

The manager deserved more than a slap. Thank you anyway tho Dr. Mofu. She did what we all wanted to do.

Wait the medicine works!! Even though the side effects are strong, it still did the job.

It's funny how they explained why he didn't pressure him, it actually makes sense.
