Are you serious? Attributing the voices to older, smoking, perverted people? For me they are normal voices like any other anime, of course I am referring to the original dubbing (Japanese)

I agree, the voices seem normal to me. I actually like both the OG and Dub cast!

For the dub or sub? I think the dub is pretty average. They aren't as distinct or cartoonish as the Viz dub and just seem like generic voices, but this is just a matter of preference. Personally I'll be watching the sub going forward

I agree, all Tendo sisters sound old, and I can't tell if they just can't reach their younger sound or they aren't directed to do so. Both Ranmas can, and sound great.

OG dub cast is too good. So many quotable likes. I love the remake but they don’t deliver the punch lines like they used to. The voice for the jusenkyo tour guide made me want to cry in the remake dub it’s so bad. We lost great lines like “Hey buddy you never said anything about that to us” and more

@Ash_Anime24 I also agree. For me the voice sound very good and accurate for the characters.

I got no dog in this race but I love he English dub so far if that counts for anything. I have never seen the OG.

I haven't updated in years but now I have changed that. I'll be free soon.
