another trash ep... and another day saying y is this piece of shit so hyped and popular.... like if she can't even stand for herself when the time is needed then she should be the president because if she becomes president that she would only take advice from our hero and would be a puppet for him rather than making her own decision and doing her own things... she can't even handle the heat of regular conversation how would she handle the pressure of being a president..... rather make the sister president she would be a good one, atleast she can stand up for her self not always crying and going to another person for help her the heroine man she a drama queen.....

I feel like the anime would've been a lot better without all this about Masachika's past.

@UnknownGhost5 The story is literally about him.

(even if my own situation wasn't as bad as his own, i still somehow can feel Kuze's pain about parents way too high expectations)

As soon as he appeared waking up, i was immediately going: "YUKI... DO YOUR THING." Too bad she did something, but piloting events from afar and not attending in person, as ill Masachika correctly guessed. Ayano is weird, she insists a lot and even stares at him until ordered otherwise.

Wait... what? "my brother isn't here any more" "she's so motivated to honor her dead brother's legacy" LOOOOOL. Yeah, it will be spectacular when Alya finds out.

And... Yuki evil smug face. Wanted to change my desktop or smartphone wallpaper, and now i know what to choose. Damn, just one more episode and i'm very afraid of no season 2. Even if this series had some real highs and lows, i just don't want it to end this quickly.

7.86. Really folks ? I'm disappointed in YOU. 6/10 at best.

I guess it's better than the manga at least. That one was a huge mess and soulless. The anime looks great at least.
But the election crap is boring as sin. MC's situation reminds me too much of Irregular of Magic High and the Russian hook might as well not exist.
Outside of imouto's and maid's occasional hilarious moments this is beyond average.

Just another bad episode. It shows yet again the poor character development. Alya is so dumb

The only good thing was the ED, cover after Ikimonogakari's song "Kimagure Romantic".

Yuki is not interesting character for me I od t understand why people love her that much to. She is just get away with everything because her brother is pushover and Alya is cannot stand for herself and accept everybody’s apologies in 1 second. She is gonna loose with literally any other person from what I seen. Just people she is fighting are not capable of speaking

Oh my family blah blah blah Alya for got sake just say I don’t care for once

That's quite a poor strategy from Yuki to make her brother even sicker with the wrong medicine (like wtf?) to trap Alya and embarrass her during the interview... at least they have more allies now, also Alya thinks Yuki's brother is dead even though it's the man she currently loves lol

So we're shown that Kuze is actually a kid prodigy, yeah. Starting from getting perfect scores in tests, and even playing quite difficult pieces such as "Beethoven Sonata Op. 49 No. 2 1st Mov" in concerts. Despite this, his mother doesn't seem to appreciate (by looking pleased) Kuze's abilities and achievements, which is quite strange.

This episode, Kuze catches a cold for some reason. Yuki gives Kuze medicine through Alya and her maid, Ayano. It turns out, Yuki can be said to have poisoned Kuze by giving him medicine that makes him sleepy. The purpose of this is so that Kuze cannot help Alya at school. Eh, Kuze realized this too late. Alya had already lost (it seems like arguing) against Yuki. Indeed, Yuki is very cunning. She gives me the vibes of Sakayanagi from COTE, not gonna lie.

This was by far the best episode in the season, first by the deceit from Yuki labeling herself as the season antagonist and finally getting some story on Kuze. This episode was directed and paced perfectly all the way to the very end. The smiles from both the siblings were insane and people who see edits of that moment are definitely going to start watching!!!

Can't believe we're almost at the end of the season; given that there were a fair number of duds this season this show definitely stood out as one of the stronger ones. Well, let's see how this episode goes

(apologies in advance for rambling; writing this post as I watch the episode, so these are my live reactions)

Won't lie, when Alya explained the Yuki thing it totally did sound like something Yuki would do... and yet, just cover

"And it smells of boy in here" Well to be fair boys aren't ones to really use air freshener or anything... so what do you expect a boy's room to smell like?

Even when sick, Kuze is still able to keep up his banter with Alya, lol

"Gotta be careful in this day and age, I might get cancelled" Hmm... gotta feeling the line in the original Japanese wasn't quite like that

Another "Hey, phrasing!" joke; classic anime rom com trope, lol

Wow... seems things just took a dark turn- first the medicine and now Alya is down about something

Oh dear... looks like Alya finally sees the real Yuki

Man, that was a dirty trick... can't believe Yuki would stoop that low. Actually on second thought I completely can.

"Sounds like you're professing your love" Watch it Alya- you're still at least half a dozen manga volumes worth of material from getting to that point, lol

Woah, what a point to end the episode on, glad she rebounded from that. Doesn't sound like the season is going to end with a confession, but on the bright side we know a season 2 is coming so there is definitely more story to see; just hoping the season ends on a satisfying note so that we feel like "it was a good place to end the season" instead of "why did it stop there?!" since that's annoying.

One episode left... looking forward to the finale

I'm a little confused as to why masachika is playing his sister's hand. He doesn't even have to tell Alya-san that they're siblings, just say that her brother isn't dead, maybe even comment that they talk on a regular basis. It's really confusing, since she'll learn if their plans (to get those two together) go through.
It might even bring more fire to Alya-san's fight

@Bastiono The eventuality of that would lead to their relationship being exposed.

@aurora_yuuki Practicing is simply the key! It's just like anything else, once you've played an instrument (or a piece) for quite a while, in the end it's just muscle memory, not gonna lie.

Kuze got a cold and unable to attend school. Alya came over at the behest of Yuki and nurse him. Seemed a plot by Yuki to get Kuze knocked out by the medicine she asked Alya to get. Kuze realized it the next day but the damage been done. All is not lost as the impact wasn't that bad due to the school only for the morning part. Plus with Sayaka and Nonoa coming over to apologize, Kuze has an idea to beat Yuki. The song ED is so memorable.

@aurora_yuuki Well, I'm taking classical lessons, so just like an average person, once I'm able to play a piece, I'll literally forget that piece if I don't play it anymore. Thus, I don't exactly know how many pieces I can play, but one thing for sure, not much!

I used to like Yuki for how flashy and funny she was, but I don't like folks who are tryharding so hard to manipulate their rivals. Hell, on top of that, Yuki recommended a med with a substance used in sleeping pills. "Not many students at school back then" ain't an excuse. Resolving to such methods while going for a seat in high school is cringe and I can't think what evil thing a person like Yuki might do after graduating and finding a job, huh.

I have fingers crossed for Alya and Kuze to succeed in the next episode (the last one, btw.). They have new allies, so let's see how Kuze plan is going to be like.
