Both S3 of Re:Zero and Mushoku Tensei are going to be the apex of isekai storytelling, so I wanted to know which between the two the fans liked better. Especially those of you who've read the LN of these two. Arc 6 [Re:Zero] or Turning Point 4 [Mushoku Tensei]. |

I second that I completed the first 2 chapters(The Diary part 1 and 2) of LN Vol. 15 within 30/45 mins(my reading speed is slow) just because I couldn't stop after I started reading, I got so many goosebumps while reading it and I even cried for what happened (my EQ is high so I get emotional easily) |

All I can say for Mushoku tensei is that the time really pulled me in. I loved seeing Rudeus grow and learn. And yes, he was a petty bad person in his previous life. But an anime that follows a characters life and watching him slowly grow, something feels different and makes the show stand out than other isekais |

Rudeus gave me that Ryan Gosling like feeling. "he's literally me" This is just a metaphor, don't bring up past life, I'm only talking about Rudeus here. |

Kinda interesting that anime fans tend to discuss whether Mushoku Tensei or Re:Zero is the greatest isekai while LN readers tend to agree that Bookworm is the greatest isekai. Looks like size of publisher and quality of anime adaptations matter~ I will vote for neither Mushoku Tensei nor Re:Zero as greatest isekai. I will not mention about Re:Zero because the main issue with that isekai is that the story never ends, it has reached volume 39 in Japan. Unlike the dozens of LN readers I know, I will also not vote for Bookworm. Well, if the discussion is greatest isekai in isekai era (2010s), my vote will be Bookworm due to Rozemyne character development as compared to Rudeus, her journey in first 2 parts is even tougher than Rudeus in all 26 volumes. What about my vote for greatest isekai ever? An eroge from mid-2000s. The only hint I can give is mentioning the title in any public anime/manga forums will get the person attacked by toxic Attack On Titan fanboys because they refuse to acknowledge that an eroge is the main source of inspiration for Isayama Hajime to create Attack On Titan. Kinda hilarious that an isekai eroge has more worldbuilding and character development than Bookworm and Mushoku Tensei. XD |

Definitely Re:Zero because season 3 includes Arc 6, which is one of my personal favorite arcs of all time. I feel it surpasses TP4 in terms of emotional impact and character growth by a long shot. |

@aurora_yuuki not even close lol. arc 9 has just started, the final arc will apparently be extremely long, and the first two arcs combined are still shorter than any of the others. It's closer to 60% I would guess. Arc 7 alone took like two years, 8 took over a year and it was relatively short. Frankly I'd be very surprised if the series ended before 2030. |
