I feel like Yuki is just playing along to further his own plans. Considering he's fairly confident about being strong enough to beat Rimuru under the right circumstances, mind manipulation shouldn't have that big of an influence over him. Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to Rimuru's reply. I'm sure nothing's gonna go the way Maribel has planned it and he'll just flip the table on the council. |

I'm not buying it. I feel like Yuki is just playing along to further his own plans.
Considering he's fairly confident about being strong enough to beat Rimuru under the right circumstances, mind manipulation shouldn't have that big of an influence over him.

| @Crohmwell Yeah I have a feeling that Yuki isn't being affected by it too. A full on fight between him and Rimuru would be interesting to see too if that ever happens. |

| If he is being manipulated, that would be such a huge deal! I was not expecting that. So was the only reason she didn’t manipulate her grandfather because he had the will to contain his ambition? Or can she still manipulate him regardless? There probably is a way to resist it but if she just has to interact with her targets extensively enough to then control them, it’s kinda omnipotent. Like no one should be anywhere near her lol. |
The sheer delusion of Mariabell thinking she is controlling Yuuki without him ever knowing and even openly saying that in front of his face is hilarious. Not gonna spoil but this is gonna bite her in the back in the most unexpected way possible. Rimuru getting caught playing around while being ditched by Veldora and Ramiris while doing just the exact same thing with Milim was so funny. True Friendship Goals right there! XD  |

| Mariabell skill avarice is certainly unique and op but her controlling yuuki seems far fetched lol. I really like the relationship between milim,rimuru,veldora and ramiris, they're like bunch of high school gaming buddies while being some of the strongest existence in this series lol |
