Laura's magical item collection is definitely a major jackpot that Rentt was able to browse. Although I think the performance that was that accidental golem fight did give Laura and Isaac quite a bang for their buck.

Rentt is a legend for choosing the RC Blimp as his item of choice. Youths across the world would agree to the quality of that choice.

Sorry I know this is kinda old now but I was watching it again & noticed that nobody seemed to mention the kinda odd thing that happened in the maze. I mean Rent was supposed to be on his best behaviour around the Latour family, yet when he meet the Latour girl in the middle of the maze for the first time & then had tea with her he just casually lowered his mask & started drinking the tea, which immediately showed his face to her showing her he was indeed a garst. Was this an oversight in the show? Up till now he was so absolutely careful not to show anyone, heck even guild girl only found out after she formed a magical contract with him to guarantee she wouldn't tell anyone yet here he just showed a complete stranger without a moment's thought. A stranger who he was supposed to be on his best behaviour around as it was imperative to his very livelihood & even could have been to his very life too. Yet he did it without a seconds thought & it was never mentioned again, weird right? Were we supposed to think she couldn't see his face somehow? Even after the look of amazement she showed after seeing his face? Maybe there was something in the source to explain it? Like he felt naturally comfortable around his own kind, err maybe? Or maybe it was just an oversight, who knows. LOL Anyway great show though I can't wait till next season. Oh & sorry for the overly long explanation, maybe I'll learn the "quick & concise" skill one day ;)

The girl was in complete control of the process. She was testing mc-kun. When he began to charge himself with a combination of mana and holy power, she realised his level of usefulness. She turned the Golem off. She could have turned him off at any time, by the way.
Rentt, you are glad-handler, fell for it, and so did you.
She's an aristocrat herself, probably a few hundred years old and very fancy. There's a reason she has an elf servant.
