| After settling the fight with Ishimaru, Sakuna decides to battle the great serpent Oomizuchi to protect the island. However, Tama-jii tells her that the power of her divine raiment alone won't be enough to defeat Oomizuchi. The only way is to melt down Tama-jii, who is the other half of the broken star soul sword, and reforge him into a new weapon. Sakuna refuses, knowing that doing so would cause Tama-ji to lose his mind and voice. |

| Sakuna had already hit me in the feels multiple times and here we go again :( Unless the finale is a complete miss then I think I know now that Sakuna will be my favourite anime of the summer season. The current rating of 6.5 is too low.  |

| All the hoes that appear are so nice beautifully crafted. I want both the strongest that Kinta crafted and a Hoshidama hoe. More screentime for Lady Toyohana and Lord Takeribi. Both that barely appear in the game. Lady Toyohana as always beautiful. Thinking about it, Tama-jii spent more time with Sakuna than her own parents. |

| I do feel for Sakuna. Sometimes, you do need to make tough decisions when it comes to overcoming a difficult obstacle. In this case, it was for Tama-jii to be melded into a weapon for Sakuna to use in order to stand a chance of winning against Omizuchi. Seeing her being heavily against the idea was perfectly understandable, but eventually, the tough choice had to be done when Sakuna was asleep. It was expected of her to be upset about it, but the spirit of Tama-jii does live on in the sword and reminded the words to Sakuna for her to stand up and be strong. This was an episode that had more touching moments than I expected to see and it was really well done. Here's hoping that Sakuna takes down Omizuchi and bring peace to the island in the final episode. |

| The evil god Omizuchi: a water dragon that Takeribi had once defeated with the Blade of Hoshidama, and with it broken, he cannot be defeated. However, half of the substitute...is right there? Tama is that half of the Blade, but Sakuna can't afford to lose him, much less depend on other people to constantly repair her weapon and Divine Raiment to be fine for the job. And with the island almost roaring into a rage, there's no time to waste. Kokorowa handing a short blade to her, which worked out alright, it's actually Tama in disguise trying to convince her that convertng him into the sword is the only way to defeat Omizuchi, as a way to atone for her parents. And in the face of the Isle of Demons slowly turning into a demon island, Sakuna has no choice but to allow Tama be forged into the half of the Hoshidama blade. Even at the worst, the rice fields still have to continue to be cultivated, and Tama spending his last days growing rice with Sakuna and the rest sure bring emotional feels. And even though the Last Supper with Tama is just that while everyone is hiding something from Sakuna, the forging is done overnight without her knowing, leaving the hoe imbued with Tama's soul as the final weapon. The spirit that once seen her together from the days in the palace, now converted into a weapon. There's no time to cry, but finish what he started. |

| So this is Tama-jii's final moments. Still remember in the game it was an emotional moment as well. Still, Sakuna's growth is pretty much complete at this stage, though the game naturally does it better. On a side note, glad to see the cow has been introduced. But I'm still mad there are no ducks lol. |

| Oh. Uhh.. that was pretty sad. I should've seen this coming, since they've called him a sword several times. Still... Planting rice together in the end was perfect. But Tama-jii seems to have wanted to avoid eating the rice, without telling Sakuna to boot. I wonder why. |

| Awww, I actually felt so sad for Tama-jii. And for Sakuna too. He was indeed a father for her. 1 last episode remains. |
