Ninja Gaiden and great story simply just don't go together.
That said, I care little to nothing about story when it comes to video games, so although Halo has the superior story to Ninja Gaiden, NG has what I like to think of as gameplay that is simply just much more fun. Halo is more appealing if you are big on online multiplayer and the like, but I personally care very little for online gaming, and only bother playing Halo's multiplayer when I'm chilling out with my friends, which is more fun than playing with random people online. As for Ninja Gaiden, its simply just pure fun from start to finish....well, OK, sometimes the difficulty can get pretty frustrating, but overall, I find it to have a much stronger single-player mode than Halo, and therefore I personally like it much more.
But, seriously, why even compare 2 games that are in completely different genres? Sure, they both have references to one another since the lead developers of each respective game has respect for the other game series, but even then that doesn't give much of a reason to compare these games to one another when they aren't related in any single way and aren't even similar at all. |
