Sad we didn’t get Alya wearing the mask when she nursed Kuze 😭

They sped ran through the Kuze Ill scene which is sad to see. They also cut Ayano wanting Kuze to step on her which is quite a funny scene in the LN.

I wish the anime would stop cutting stuff, they’ve cut all the scenes that made me fall in love with this series. Hikaru has no character in the anime too which is sad to see as his small scene with Masachika also got cut

Like I'm enjoying the anime alot too like Yuki and her plan was just so peak like she is just so Peak! Alya got played so badly it made her look like a 1 dimensional character πŸ’€

But I guess I'm coming out the episode being like it was fun but I'm a lil confused I guess. The last episode made it a big deal about his mom and stuff but they showed the short backstory thing and that was it. And maybe I thought with ayano being there in the room we would've gotten insight into their whole family blood line and stuff in general but it was just about the student council thing. (Also Ayano definitely is getting no route masachika was not fw that 😞😞). And then afterwards now we are just forgetting about everything built up from the previous ep and now it's just final student council showdown for the 2nd or 3rd time.

Idk I don't really have a problem with it but I gotta be honest this is the most serious student council plotline I've seen πŸ’€. Which is interesting in its own right but I just notice there's alot of loose ends that I'm seeing that can't really be solved in an episode because of the student council plotline. Like remember him y'know learning russian for that one girl as a kid? ive been really anticipating maria to have Sum to do with that due to alluring implications but idk thats been my biggest question with all of this. Pretty sure this anime will get a season 2 tho forsure so maybe thall give me all my answers

And what happened after he met his mother after that parent-teacher meeting? Did they skip it or what? We saw his memories and then suddenly he's sick? How does that make any sense?

So, let's talk about that Tokidoki Bosotto Russia-go de Dereru Tonari no Alya-san episode, shall we? It was a hoot. Yuki's diabolical plan to drug Kuze so he couldn't help Alya? Pure evil. And her whole 'villain' stance? Hilarious. She's definitely a hidden otaku.

Kuze, on the other hand, is a champ. He saw right through Yuki's psychological games and saved Alya from her PTSD. And let's not forget that time Yuki tried to make Kuze seem dead? Classic Yuki. But Kuze, being the badass he is, showed her who's boss.

Overall, it was a fantastic episode. The ED was sweet. And now? I'm never trusting my family with anything, especially medicine. I mean, who knows what they're up to? LOL

An episode without Masha makes me sad, I feel like she's been somewhat pushed to the side. Which I mean is fair I guess but I wish she had a bit more of a role than just the comfort character we see sometimes.

This was a really good episode regardless. Honestly at first I thought this was just gonna be an episode of Ayano pampering Kuze. Which I would have been all for ngl. This episode made me like her a lot more she's a great maid.

Yuki is evil af tho. I wonder if she somehow managed to make Kuze sick. Or maybe she was just waiting for a moment like this to make her move. Alya unironically feels really out of place It really feels like she's just getting constantly played and just hanging onto Kuze. Were Kuze and Yuki are really the ones taking centre stage here. Even ayano feels like she's doing way more than Alya.

I was waiting for this moment, volume 3 is when shit gets real for the first time.
There are a lot of episodes to catch up with, but I should do so by episode 12, which will be a great wait to end S1 and leave people hyping S2.

Finally, I have been waiting for them to get serious about this student council election, and this episode kicked it off nicely.

Kuze vs Yuki, they both have that same look when they get excited about a serious competition, took them long enough.

On Yuki, that face was terrifying to Alya, but on Kuze, she says, "That's a great expression too."

And now Taniyama, Sayaka & Miyamae, Nonoa are joining the fight with Alya & Kuze to defeat Yuki.

But unfortunately, there is only 1 episode left, which is disappointing, should have been 24-25 episodes.
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.

Nothing. Masachika doesn't talk to his mom and his mom doesn't talk to him untill volume 9 (which would be episode 10 of season 3 in case they go untill that with the same pacing)

Their common issue is one of the cornerstones of Roshidere so I understand you were expecting something but trust me. They need some other things to happen before having these two finally talking. (Roshidere's true stakes are just starting to get introduced)

Things between Yuki and Alya got intense again. But there was a good part to in asking Alya to take care of Masachika while he was sick. I just loved they got even much closer thanks to this reason.

I did not expect for Nonoa and Sayaka to come to Alya and Kuze and ask for an apology. That was too much to bear for her, but hey, Sayaka had to do it, because she was very rude saying those things in the congres. I expect anything to happen from now on, let’s see what will going to be on election’s day.

I love this new ending, they showed us every girl is a cute way. My favorite girls are Masha and Alya=)

Honestly, one of the best episodes of the anime so far. It seems like we are getting back to like it was in the beginning of the anime, where the story was going strong, and the fan-service was a side thing. In fact, this episode barely got any fan-service, which is appreciated honestly.
Yuki playing those nasty tricks against Alya was just malicious, and shows she's capable of anything to get what she wants, but it's understandable, due to the pressure she has to win the elections. On the other hand, Alya surprised me in this episode, because she really was determined to win that "debate", she just wasn't ready for that backstory reveal, which is honestly understandable too. In other episodes, it just seemed like Alya relied on Kuze too much, but on this one, I felt like the reason for her to be caught off guard was really genuine, if we can put it like that. But it's interesting how she wasn't really sad that she wasn't on the same level as Yuki, like Yuki wanted, but instead she was just frustrated by herself, for not being able to overcome that backstory reveal (also, Yuki really made it seem like Kuze is dead xD).
I actually think Alya's reason to win the election is better than Yuki's, because the truth is, since Alya is doing it for herself, you know she's giving her 100% when she wins, since she really wants it. On the other hand, Yuki just wants to win to make her family happy, and at the end of the day she won't have the same passion has Alya if she wins. I don't know, I feel like a viewer I only understood why Kuze chose to support Alya over Yuki (besides having a crush on her) this episode too. Also, interesting to see that the other 2 girls are going to help someway now too.

I wonder how this anime is going to end, since next episode is the last, and I wonder if they will be able to adapt the whole closing ceremony in just one episode. Also, everyone said that this season would end with a really big reveal, and with the current setting, I wonder what this reveal is going to be. Anyways, this episode was for sure much better than the previous ones, and if the next episode maintains this quality, I might give this anime a better score than what I was thinking actually.

Almost any info I may disclose may come off as a spoiler, so just know that as an LN reader, I assure you that the finale is going to be PEAK.

I couldn't stop smiling and being excited when I was reading it. This episode will serve as the closure of V3 - which used to be my favorite volume until I read V4. And V4 is still the best out of all.

It feels like Yuki's villian arc has officially begun, so I can't wait for the finale and see how the rest of Volume 3 will be adapted. Biggest question until next week: Who will prevail?

By the way, Kuze is really lucky to have two maids to nurse him. He surely deserved a harem huh.
@RaiYou Honestly it's a good thing this is meant to be taken as a comedic show, what yuki did classifies as drugging and at the best case scenario, most people if they had a family member literally drug them, would disown family over something like that and get a restraining order.
So calling yuki a villain here is the least of the problems in this for me, that said it was a good if not extreme betrayal episode.

I wonder when, if ever, Alya will make the connection that Yuki and Masachika are related, especially when Yuki knows about Masachika's health and has her maid helping him out. Speaking of the maid, Ayano looked good in that outfit and the girls in the ED looked even nicer with their makeup.

I'm not sure how this will end but I hope for a S2 announcement because with one episode remaining there are too many plot lines open.

That's not my point. My point is that there wasn't any transition between those scenes. It should have been either at the end of episode 10 with him just walking away or something at the beggining of episode 11. That, at first, made me feel as if I skipped an episode or didn't watch episode 10's post ending scene.

@Dominopir He didn't interact nor talk to her in the LN. Masachika went home with his grandpa afterwards. No wonder they didn't feel the need to animate it. I suppose from your, an anime-only's standpoint, the final scene of Episode 10 served as a cliffhanger so I suppose that's a valid point.

But now you know.

Yuki is truly devious and manipulative, taking advantage of Masachika's cold to leave Alya vulnerable. She even lied about her intentions to become the student council president and about her brother's death, all to make Alya feel defenseless.

There’s no doubt they're siblings Yuki’s chilling smile definitely sent shivers down the spine. Now, Masachika is about to make his move, using Nonoa and Sayaka to secure Alya’s victory. This is turning into quite the strategic battle!

Dang Masachika fell into a trap and Yuki just pressured Alya into doing what she wanted. Although, Masachika feeling excited finding out about that situation lol, he put on a devious smile as Yuki did earlier xD. Now Masachika is cooking up his own plan which we'll probably see it play out next episode. Since that episode is gonna be the last, I wonder how it'll go.

You know? Last week I still was willing to give Suou's mom the benefit of the doubt but after today's episode that's it, I don't like her at all.
No tomo malas decisiones, solo me gusta apoyar causas perdidas.
Disfruté Mayoiga, Ou-sama Game, Evil or Live, Mirai Nikki, Big Order, Arifureta, Ex-Arm, Tesla Note, Shuumatsu no Harem y Platinum End
nope les falle con esa, lo siento pero todos tenemos nuestros límites.
Así de jodido es mi gusto en anime, ¡Y estoy pinche orgulloso de ello!

Yuki really nailed it, broken Alya's ambitions with that move. Wow Yuki finally seems like a final boss. Really good episode.
Alya taking care of Kuze was so cute. Also Ayano in maid outfit just glorious!
Kuze past remember me Kousei past, they seems similar.
Nice episode 10/10

I almost hated this episode because of what Yuki did, but I really love this episode because of how cute Alya was when she nursed Masachika.

No Masha today but we're treated with Ayano. It's a rare moment to see here without Yuki, and she is as sexy as the other characters. Too bad she's underrated.

ETA: Masachika's backstory reminds me of that mc from Your Lie in April. It's good for his mental health to leave his mother.

The drama on this anime is reeeeeeeeally weak. At least we have cute girls.

dude this show is just getting worse, if it weren't about debates and student council and more about the romance then this show would be so much better

Yeah, Kuze really is lucky to have them! Especially for one of them to be half Russian at that! And quite a looker nonetheless!

So yeah, I do envy Kuze! πŸ˜„
