if anyone has read the manga, why do you think they rushed joule, feet and bolt being able to talk

in the anime, they start talking in episode 5 after dealing with the goblin attack at the village (which is roughly around chapter 15 in the manga) but this doesn't happen until way later on in their adventure which makes me wonder wonder why they decided to do it here. my theory thinks they wont make it onto the point where they begin to talk in the manga.

does anyone else have any theories onto why this is or you can call me a whinny nit picker with the nerd emoji (i dont mind)

Can you fill in a bit for us anime only people? When do they actually level up enough to speak in the manga? Has the anime reached that point yet?
Oh, and you’re a whiny nitpicking nerd btw. Wasn’t gonna mention it but you did ask…

I don’t read the written material and no official information.

But if I could guess, it would conscience for the anime watching experience.

They were going to talk eventually, might as well just have them talk now so they can interact with the humans better in the show.
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.

Have you tried the original material? The LN maybe it's there you see what is more into the anime because the manga is just another adaptation like the anime.

@Otakupervert890 I actually haven't read the LN, I'm just basing my experience on manga only so it could be different there. I wouldn't mind if you told me when they levelled up in the LN

@FutoiOtaku I won't go into too much detail on when they can talk due to spoilers, as the anime is far from reaching the points in the manga where they gained it, but I think I'm able to give an overview. so joule gains the ability first in chapter 36 after the group deal with bandits, feet gains it in chapter 40 during the upper levels of ripple and bolt gains at the end of chapter 44 when the group (plus isaac and volt) are setting out for another city. Of course these points are far from what the anime is currently on with the group just having arrived in Cedric's estate (but i mean, they could reach the part where Joule starts speaking in the manga as episode 9 ends at the end of chapter 30, so if the pacing is good, they could make it to chapter 36 by episode 10 and chapter 44 by episode 12). I could make a more in depth explanation but i think this is enough. If you want it, either read the chapters or just let me know

Thanks, that’s plenty to go on. It seems they aren’t confident of making multiple seasons and have decided to develop the characters at an early stage rather than end the season with a herd of dumb animals. As an anime only, I don’t mind although it’s probably a bit annoying for source readers. Probably pushed the budget up a bit employing 3 more VAs…

Your welcome. Well I will accept this change as it does open up more things for the cast to say

I think they probably don't plan on serializing the whole manga, since it's still ongoing. I think they only planned about 24 episodes and then stop. maybe that's the reason they rushed their development.
