I'm 2 weeks late with this discussion! Sorry about that.
So it seems the Magic Grail lets the wielder become a demon lord? I wonder why anyone would want to be a demon lord. Or perhaps Beatrice just wants more magic power. Azula did mention in his long speech in the previous chapter that there's a hierarchy of magic power.
