Has the manga been fully adapted with this season? Or is there gonna be a sequel after S3?
Thanks

Wake up to reality! Nothing ever goes as planned in this accursed world. The longer you live, the more you realize that the only things that truly exist in this reality are merely pain, suffering and futility.Everywhere you look in this world, wherever there is light, there will always be shadows to be found as well.As long as there is a concept of victors, the vanquished will also exist. The selfish intent of wanting to preserve peace, initiates war and hatred is born in order to protect love.

Nothing has been announced so the only answer is that we don't know.

Personally I believe there will be more because it doesn't make much sense to revive a series after 13 years just to keep it unfinished again.

Netflix is obviously interested in Kimi ni Todoke, they made the live-action show and are the reason why season 3 of the anime has been produced. It looks like they are willing to bankroll it til completion.

I hope not, honestly I wish this was about where the manga had stopped, this was where it peaked. The shift of focus towards college prep, while done well, was not what I had started the series for. I only cared about Sawako’s journey in building confidence and going for what she wanted. I had no interest in Kurumi (obviously I’m in the minority, as she was popular enough to have her own spin-off), and the teasing of Ayane x Pin was a no-thank-you from me. I’m glad that Pin is an upstanding guy underneath it all, but that the author teased readers with this potential relationship as a viable option was just ugh. As a teacher myself, just no. If that’s your fantasy, you do you, we all have our own, but I can’t separate this “just silly fiction” from real life with this one.

winter, chill out dude. that was probably just a weird early 2000's joke, but it was pretty clear that nothing else would happen.

plus, sawa's journey to confidence didn't end there. of course is a nice ending, and personally I didn't even think that they'd make a third season, but the college arc is good as well and it's always nice to see cute Sawa growing up.

If you’re talking about the Ayane x Pin stuff being the joke, you’d be surprised how many fans ship them seriously. Yes, they had comedic moments between them, but the teasing of their relationship was played pretty straight by the author. Like I said, if that’s your fantasy, no judgment, it’s just not for me personally, squicks me out. I knew friends growing up that also had crushes on their teachers, I never understood it, but hey, you’re attracted to whoever. I would’ve loved if by the end Ayane came to the discovery that she was actually lesbian or asexual given her multiple experiences of difficulties dating men and her passing thoughts on that actually being the case. Where the author actually left her I respect, you don’t see that too often. I just didn’t care for the teases on the way to that ending.

I did say the college arc was done well, and that I was only interested in Sawako’s story. I should have specified that I meant that I was interested in ONLY Sawako’s story and development during this arc, sorry. As opposed to other arcs, where I was invested in pretty much everyone. So in other arcs, I enjoyed every minute; in this arc, I enjoyed every other minute, the rest was simply tepid interest, not hate. The other characters in this arc I was like, “cool, good luck, wish you well” except for the Kurumi stuff and Ayane stuff. Kurumi I only cared for as far as how she helped Sawako develop, not her personally.

I hope not, it makes no sense. After so many years all they did is a full filler season. I dont get the high rating, it has nothing to do with the manga.

Filler? Every episode is essential character development. All the main cast has their story expanded and explored. Calling this season filler makes literally no sense

@Purple_Element Filler? it was perfectly adapted from the manga + contained development for Sawako, Kazehaya, Ayane, Chizuru, even Kento.

Seeing the amount left they could probably wrap up covering the entire story by season 5, assuming (and hoping!) they continue.
