Oh fuck yeah Shaft. They snapped on that first two minutes of the episode. After this arc, I have to say, Ononoki and Sengoku make one hell of a team. I NEED to see more of them in the future. Their whole plan with Ononoki using Unlimited Rule Book to destroy most of the clones, making in easier for Sengoku to defeat Goddess Sengoku once and for all. Then Ougi showed up in ARARAGI'S VOLKSWAGEN???? xDDDD

Though, now with Goddess Senogku down, all that's left is good ol' Meek Sengoku from Bake. Found it funnt that Ougi really just gaslighted Sengoku into thinking she knew where Meek was, just to end up taking her to Senjougahara's because he thought that she would go there to kill went there to kill Araragi's girlfriend... lol.

But Sengoku in the end, ended up finding Meek in front of the High School, ofc, waiting for Araragi. Was a sweet way to end that off, but we have a C part that SHINBOUUUUU SHOWED UPPPPP AHHHH 😭😭😭 Ofc she's eating that good ol' Mister Donut as well lmaooo. Glad to see that in the end, Gaen ended up wanting to help Sengoku with some "chores"

Even as someone who doesn't really like Sengoku all too much, this arc as a whole really touched me—the depth of emotion and the introspection were incredible. Sengoku finally comes to terms with her past and finds the strength to move forward. Her journey in this arc is chefs kiss. It's hard to think about Sengoku because I always see her as a perpetual victim. But in this arc, she strives to break free from that role—not to forget him, but to release herself from the chains that have bound her.

Ononoki in a suit... that made my day. YEAHHHHH PISU PISU.

Sengoku sacrificing her shame to catch god Nadeko will be forever remembered as one of ‘THE’ moments of this series lol. Seriously though, we’ve seen how she was practically ashamed thinking about Meek Nadeko and her dressing sense in the last four episodes, but yeah, in the end she had to go down the same path. Again btw, I liked how much Sengoku has grown to think about herself in this arc and her own shortcomings which led to the entire Nadeko(s) fiasco.

Now I think I might have forgotten a bit, but wasn’t Ougi driving the same car which Araragi was in one of the parts of the final series? Nothing special about this but yeah, shows how unpredictable Ougi is lol. I mean see, how he sweet talked Sengoku and somehow led her to Senjougahara’s house xD Still jokes aside, the last talk between the real Nadeko and Meek Nadeko has to be the highlight of this arc. She has moved on from Araragi and will definitely find someone who’s better than him. But yeah, she’d need to be more secretive about her deeds from next time lol, otherwise someone like Shinobu can easily find out xD

This arc redeemed Sengoku of literally every mishap she did in the main series. Loved this in the end, now to whatever they'd adapt from next week. Btw, Shinobu done, now Hanekawa and Senjougahara need to make an appearance.

Well that's one case solved still Senugoku's house certainly invites a lot of strange being together with Tsukihi which was nice to see.
Also the part where the visited Snejougahara's house was funny it's a shame we didn't get to see her tho.

Fantastic episode and an episode that made the whole arc worth it. Before this episode, I felt like this arc was good but could've been a little more interesting thematically at times, but this episode really wrapped everything up so well and showcased Nadeko's characterization in such an amazing light and how much she has grown over it to end up the way it did by the end. Especially during her conversation with Meek Nadeko there, the portrayal in the anime felt magical and the music throughout that scene and even the entire episode, was excellent. For how she was one of my least favorite characters to watch for good chunks of the main series alongside Mayoi compared to how strong the rest of the cast is, Otori/Koimonogatari showcased her character's potential well and this arc showcased her growth that makes me appreciate a character like her to new heights. Good to see her gain the courage and strength to move past what was holding her back and moving forward. Reminds me in a way of how I struggled emotionally with letting things go from the past once my life took a depressing turn and was trying to live with those past memories rather than moving forward so can empathize to some degree with that.

Fantastic ending to Nadeko's story for now.The final confrontation with God Nadeko was a unexpectedly fast.I am glad that Meek Nadeko was the one stringing things along and it works for how her Nadeko was back then. A weak meek girl that is looked down on as someone to protect and help.

Nonetheless, I'm glad she came to terms with herself and her first love. Now she can move on. Don't know if she'll go to high school but now that she has the potential to earn money as a specialist her parents won't worry so much about her. And maybe her manga will blow up. Wouldn't mind seeing her go on more adventures but I guess we'll have to see.

Honestly, when I watched Owarimonogatari, I thought that things were all wrapped up but then Nisoisin gives us more this world and possibilities to explore. Looking forward to what is coming next.

Really good and elevated the whole arc and Nadeko's character, she found her place in the world. Started action packed, the follow up with Meek Nadeko was emotional and finally the epilogue was funny and meaningful.

"Nobody can stay in the same place forever."

This was an excellent, beautiful way to wrap up this character arc for Nadeko, and I'm so proud of her growth. She broke free from being meek, being a victim, and finally moved on, while still accepting her past issues. The scene where the current Nadeko talked with Meek Nadeko was amazing, as it showed off just how much she has matured. While Nadeko, before this arc, was probably one of my least favourite characters in the series, this arc gave her the character development that I appreciate so very much. Also, we got a Shinobu sighting at the end, as the cherry on top. I've said it several times, but I'll say it again, I'm so glad that the Monogatari Series is back.

And with that we reach the conclusion. It did not disappoint.

I was actually surprised by how clever Nade-Koh's plan was. She really used everything she had. Shaft went all out for the fight scene; It looked super pretty.

Nadeko and Ononoki have truly become friends. I love this duo! We were so blessed with their dynamic this arc.

In the end, the one who had most emotional truth in her wasn't Kami-Nadeko at all. In fact, she held none of the truth. She was just rampant and violent. Meanwhile Oto-Nadeko is no threat whatsoever, but drops some of the hardest hitting lines. "Does that mean you don't like him anymore?" "I'm happy just waiting here for him." "I become that kind of adult?"
But of course, Nade-Koh finds empathy and the right words. She's come a long way after all. Her moving Oto-Nadeko's bangs to the side was sweet. She gave her her own identity. With this, I feel like Nadeko has truly reconciled with her past. This arc was on the nose at times, but it was beautiful nonetheless.

Surprise post-credit visit from the all-mighty Shinobu! I have missed the little snarky vampire very much. And then she delivers another top tier written conversation with Nadeko! I couldn't be happier.

This arc has been magnificent and has made full use of how incredibly complex of a person Nadeko is. I suspected the quality might drop in the off-season but that was not the case at all. I struggle to think of many arcs better than this, especially ones not centering on Nadeko.

"I don't think I'll be able to become an adult for quite a while. But maybe, just for a little bit, I grew up on this day."

I'm at a loss for proper words, this episode was simply such a beautiful, emotionally powerful, and befitting way to conclude Nadeko's story arc and really highlighted how much she's developed and grown, especially being able to finally come to terms with her past selves, her lingering sense of guilt and and connections to Koyomi that have previously bounded her in the ground, and being able to move forward towards a future for herself, even it's just one little step at a time.

I was not expecting god Nadeko to be beaten just 2 minutes into the episode. But for what it's worth, that 2 minutes of action had amazing animation. Shaft didn't disappoint. Nadeko's plan to take her down was genius.

Of course, the rest of the episode was also beautiful. Especially current Nadeko facing meek Nadeko. It had to come in full circle. Ngl, that scene made me tear up a bit. Even tho I never went through what she went through.

When Ougi pulled up with that yellow car I thought Araragi arrived. Of course, it wasn't him. And to think Ougi thought meek Nadeko wanted to kill Senjougahara was hilarious. It was great to hear Nadeko being pissed-off again.

Finally, the post-credits scene. Shinobu finally appeared! I think it probably makes sense cause she'll have her own stories in later episodes. But damn, Shinobu and Nadeko spending time together? I don't remember that happening before.

So, Nadeko will become a manga artist and a part-time aberration specialist? That sounds badass. I hope this won't be the last that we'll see of Nadeko. I'd love to see her again whether as cameos or in full-fledged stories.

This episode is a 10/10 shows the path towards maturity and healing her spirit through the 5 nadekos getting over her broken heart. I really loved it, other series just make the girls pathetic and continue to simp on the MC (Yuigahama from SNAFU) instead of getting over it.

They've definitely set it up so that there's an infinitely-mineable new storyline of material with the Nadekoverse. Not bad, she's a very well-defined and complex character for us to follow at this point, and infinitely more pleasant than the protagonist leading the franchise up until now.

That was a really nice conclusion to Nadeko's story, very well done and adapted by shaft. The scene was beautiful. Nadeko's by far my least fav and the least likeable character from the anime and that's saying a lot considering I love pretty much all the characters from this series, antagonists included. But it was good seeing her getting a closure and also starting anew.

Great to see Shinobu as well, our beloved iron blooded, hot blooded, cold blooded vampire. She did great freeing Nadeko from her curse. Also love watching Tsukihi, such a free spirit. Ononoki's back with good news as well, peace peace!

The fight against God Nadeko was shorter than I thought it would be, even being done before the OP played, but it was a great battle with some impressive animation to back it up. Nadeko's plan here was risky, but it paid off hugely here.

While Ougi driving Araragi's Volkswagen Beetle was an amusing surprise, the best part of this episode for me was Nadeko confronting the Meek Nadeko found hanging around the entrance of the all too familiar high school. Backed up by a beautiful OST, this scene portrayed how much Nadeko has grown from her previous versions and she handled dealing with her meek version with the upmost care, but still being able to drive the main point home. She'll be taking a new step towards a future and I'm sure that she'll do just fine. =)

The post-credit scene was also a treat. Thanks to Tsukihi crashing out in Nadeko's room, Shinobu popped up out of her shadow, much to my delight, and the two had a fun time testing out Nadeko's powers in creating drawings into real world objects including doughnuts, which did end rather badly upon tasting it. XD

Now Nadeko can move on, not only continuing in being a manga artist, but also helping out Gaen with some odd jobs here and there. Hopefully this won't be the last we'll see of Nadeko in this season.

Overall, this was an excellent episode that concluded this arc superbly. It has made me like Nadeko a lot more than before.

Great episode.

Nadeko closes the lid on collecting the 4 shikigami's of herself, all while having come to terms with who she was and is now able to move on with her life.

Her conversation with Meek Nadeko was very sweet and touching, I loved it. Not only that, but even Gaen has taken an interest in Nadeko doing work for her, so thats a plus I guess. Seeing Shinobu again was great as well!!

Honestly this is probably her best arc to date. I am looking forward for the next ep.

Hell yeah easily the best episode in this season so far. The fight scene between god nadeko and the two shikigami nadeko is fuckin hype. And when revealed that the real nadeko disguising herself as meek nadeko is really a great plan. Nadeko really has come a long way to now being so capable.

I guess God Nadeko wasn’t the final boss after all, although she was certainly the most boss-like of the Nadekos, her fight was quite awesome although being pretty quick, beautiful art and animation throughout and quite the smart plan by Nadeko which I was nearly right on the money with in my post for the previous episode, I just didn’t account for there being two fake Nadekos lol. And with God Nadeko sealed, it was off to find the actual Meek Nadeko, aka the OG Nadeko that we all originally knew, and dumb me thought she would be at Araragi’s college but of course she would be at the high school, Meek Nadeko wouldn’t know he graduated lol.

And the scene between Meek Nadeko and our Nadeko was so good, it wasn’t flashy or action heavy like God Nadeko, but it was among my favorite scenes in the whole series for sure, Nadeko knew exactly what to say because it was like talking to a mirror of her past, and in the end Meek Nadeko hopped willfully into the paper and moved on into the future with her real self, beautiful scene, it’s gonna be wild when I eventually rewatch Bakemonogatari with the information I have from this lol. And in the aftermath, along with Tsukihi revealing that she pretty much didn’t cover for Nadeko at all, we also got to see Shinobu’s tiny self in person for the first time this season where she helped Nadeko learn how to use her newfound power appropriately, too bad the donut copy machine didn’t work lol, very nice to see Shinobu again as well. And afterward Ononoki revealed that Gaen is interested in Nadeko, so this means Nadeko is heading down the specialist path as well as the mangaka path, definitely not where I saw her heading after all this time but it’s interesting for sure, I liked seeing her and Ononoki being buddies at the end too lol, a chill end to this nutty arc.

And now that we’re at the end of the arc, I can definitely say it’s among my favorites of the series as someone who’s really enjoyed Nadeko throughout each part of the series, it was so interesting seeing each past version of herself as their own characters, and giving how much Nadeko has developed after all this time they might as well be completely different characters anyway lol, and while the past versions of herself may have each had their own fun, I think the present Nadeko is the best version of herself, loved seeing her growth not just over all these seasons, but this particular arc as well, it was truly the Nadeko retrospective lol. And teaming up Nadeko with Ononoki was a combo I didn’t know I’d love so much, I hope this isn’t the last we see of them together, as well as Ougi who also added some greatness to this arc. And that OP man, another Monogatari banger that belongs up there with the best songs of the series, I’m gonna miss it if it changes for whatever the next arc is.

Fucking cinema, i really have no other words to describe this episode besides how truly beautiful this felt for Nadeko's character and growth.

The final scene with Meek was genuinely fantastic, shit actually had me so close to tears from looking back at how this entire arc was able to encapsulate so much of Nadeko's character and growth throughout the entire series to this point, and showed what she learned and took away from all of it. All those themes of "moving on" and the self realisation presented in that scene felt so hard hitting, moments like Meek's asking her current self "Is the future that boring" and "Did I turn into that kind of an adult?" because of how she moved on from Araragi, and current Nadeko's response essentially being a self-promise to grow up into a person her past selves would've wanted, one that loves people and wouldn't forget the time with Araragi, that'll continue chasing dreams and making her silly little mistakes with love, someone that could love herself, past, present and future.

The line "I will definitely not turn your heartbreak in to a failure." hit me the most in that scene, combined with how she later pushes aside Meek's bangs it all felt like amazing imagery of Nadeko reassuring her past self that all her efforts were not put in vein and that she never forgot what they originally loved.
To finish it of, Nadeko planning to create stories from her experiences that'll spark joy in people's hearts, then watching Meek fade away and finally seeing all 5 Nadeko's together was the most heart-warming moments in this arc for me.

Shinobu appearance was stellar, didn't expect it but i loved it. Shinobu actually being super nice to Nadeko and teaching her in a "polite and thorough manner" the usage of her shikigami skills was really sweet especially if it's on her own accord, really hammers in the difference between her Shinobu self and her ex King of Apparitions Kiss-Shot self which i liked.
Also was that a sketch of the fucking Alien Body found in Mexico in 2023 at 22:09? Shit jump scared me, i never thought i'd ever pick up on a reference like that from this series in a first watch by myself but hay. I additionally love with the added context and monologue, Studio SHAFT were essentially poking at the idea that Shinobu thought of using Nadeko's abilities to try to resurrect a supposed dead Alien to debunk whether it was first real or not and second if Nadeko's abilities could resurrect a taxidermed creature.

Overall, what a way to tie up Nadeko's story thus far, apart from the major character growth she was able to prove to Gaen she could be helpful and not a threat, landing herself a well paying side job as a specialist besides her Manga gig that she just got a new idea for, ultimately allowing her a stable income that'll allow her to live on her own so honestly best ending i could ever ask for Nadeko.

Senjougahara is my ultimate waifu💘, but it's impossible not to have your heart melt for Nadeko-chan🥰. I don't remember if she had shown it before, but I was shocked to realize now that, out of jealousy, she once thought about killing Senjougahara.😳

It was great to see that Nadeko managed to reconcile with her own feelings and accept that she must move on, and with Shinobu's help, understand that she can become the great adult she dreams of being, without having to be ashamed of the aura of cuteness that she carries with her.

Nadeko holding meek Nadeko's hand represents the time when Araragi met Nadeko back in Bakemonogatari in front of his high school. Araragi was in the light while was in the shadow of the building indicating Nadeko was playing the victim trying to make araragi help her. But now both of them are in light.

Such peakness. This arc made me see Nadeko in a whole new light.

The "Do you not love him anymore?" crushed my soul. How far you have come Nadeko. what a character!!

@cuhoangdk We arent even half done with Off Season. This series is called Off & Monster Season because it mixes these two and reorders them. In total there are 4 books ín Off Season and 6 in Monster, meaning we will need more than 40, maybe even 50 episodes to adapt everything. This cour will likely only have 14 episodes for now though.

Honestly speaking, I was never the biggest Nadeko fan, I really liked her as a character, but personally, I wasn't that attached to her compared to the other characters, but man, Nademonogatari really changed that, what a fantastic arc. Her growth and development is so amazing, Meek Nadeko jumping into current Nadeko will definitely go down as one of the many peakest moments of the series.

Ougi bringing out the Wrath Nadeko in Current Nadeko was hilarious. I can't tell if Ougi did it on purpose and was trolling or not lmao.

SHINOBUUUUUUUUUUUUU! You can't imagine the feral noises and excitement I had when she fucking showed up unexpectedly. I guess Ougi and Nadeko passing by the abandoned Mister Donut was foreshadowing.

Yotsugi and Nadeko duo was something I never knew I needed, I really hope we see some Manga Artist/Specialist Nadeko adventures in the future. I still can't believe Nadeko is becoming a specialist, I never expected or thought of it back then.

I wonder what story is going to be next, Shinobu please.
