I personally have the issue with the depressing tone of it (at least that's how I found it) then the boring aspect.

The "boring" aspect of the anime comes from realistic approach when it comes to this topic and it's only natural that the progression is slow.
None of the main characters are sure how to look at one another, weather as siblings or sth. else (which is how a normal person would feel irl in the same situation). Tbh it's a nice chance of pace from the usual stuff with similar theme.

I'll watch the entire season and will he how far their relationship progresses for those 12 episodes. If nothing changes then yeah, I'd say that was kinda a waste of time, but we'll see.

Yeah I kinda agree. Very poorly paced show in my opinion. The dialogue is also just not there. The only characters with any real chemistry are mc and his older coworker. I’m just failing to see what the actual point of the show is right now. Is it romance? Is it psychological? Slice of life? Hopefully it’ll get more interesting later because I like the overall aesthetic of the show at least, it’s just a very awkwardly presented story so far.

I don't drop any anime once I start it, so I am going to finish it despite not liking the anime so far.

But it is definitely not the worst anime I have had to sit though. 😅

You can't judge the people who lack to understand the dialogues and scenes that surround this Anime. But that goes for those people too, you can't criticize it, if you lack the figures to understand it.

I'm mesmerized by this Anime, of how good Gimai Seikatsu is. every dialogue, and non-dialogue scenes are executed so well. the scenes of every detail in the room, from those decorations at home, to every movement of the characters (turning the lights on/off) have a deep meaning. My major was German literature, so I really appreciate these Animes, it's one of a kind.

@Ruthless_Lord well not everytime. I usually have habit to watch whole season to decide. Like i didn't like plastic memory till 6 episode but then man!!!! it is amazing. It is one of the best anime i ever watched. So just hang in there for 1 season 😂😂

Just go check out the manga. If I’m remembering correctly it’s only like 17 chapters which I’m assuming is season 1 of the anime. The show isn’t “bad” but I can’t definitely understand why people might think it’s slow or boring. I get irritated at a lot of things in this one as well. Let’s be honest, 96.87653% of all problems in manga/anime romances come from one thing and one thing only. LACK OF COMMUNICATION. Since no one in these stories never seem to wanna talk about anything, constantly hides everything, and for the most part don’t communicate with each other unless it’s life or death problems and misunderstandings continue to pop up one after another. In this one we have 2 kids who’s parents have done an abysmal job of “communicating” to and comforting them when they each got divorced to the point that both children have issues bordering on mental illness. Just like in every single isekai/regression story the mc’s rarely confide in anyone about anything at all or hide their powers not even telling their families or significant others. Even to the point where telling someone who previously died before they regressed that trouble is coming even if it their own parents! 😂😂😂 I’ve seen this multiple times. I love manga, anime, LN’s but it really has taken me personally a long time to come to terms with these things if a wanna continue to enjoy them. So basically I’m saying that if this family in our story would speak to each other on a regular basis and push through topics that are hard to speak about all of them would grow and be better for it instead of this crazy cat mouse game we see in this show 😂😂😂. Just my 2 cents

The problem with this anime is not lying at the issue of incidents, rather it's written about interpersonal subject matters by a person who's surely incapable of handling/engaging interaction between Homo sapiens (even out of courtesy). Imagination is the reflection of one's self, so they say.

Here is an example of 'imagination': Where the fuck did that determination not to rely on her 'natural-born assets' in regards to the rumours on her mother's 'night activities' in the second episode go, as she decided to jump onto her brother-'in-law's (that the other term for step siblings) wiener for a few bucks?

Even to the point where telling someone who previously died before they regressed that trouble is coming even if it their own parents! 😂😂😂 I’ve seen this multiple times. I love manga, anime, LN’s but it really has taken me personally a long time to come to terms with these things if a wanna continue to enjoy them. So basically I’m saying that if this family in our story would speak to each other on a regular basis and push through topics that are hard to speak about all of them would grow and be better for it instead of this crazy cat mouse game we see in this show 😂😂😂. Just my 2 cents

you are wrong first . This show has taken from LN, so the story will cover after the ch 17 in the manga by 6 chapters more, I guess
second, if everyone can talk to their family successfully , there will be no stories just like this
and what should they should talk about
why did parents divorce ? they know the reason in this story
why can't they communicate with the people ?
what should they speak about ?
and again don't judge before you complete the story

@TAPanos What genre this show belongs to? Drama, I guess.

The worst genre that the Japanese produce is drama genre, when they try to replicate the way the real-life Japanese people think.

It's always the same negative thinking like oh no I'm such a burden to other people, I have no plan for my future, I don't belong here, I have to put on a mask to fake my feelings, etc. And they'll spend 11 episodes repeating these stuff until the character jumps off a balcony, while the 12th episode doesn't give you any satisfying ending.

@Romangelo my daughter and I watch a lot of these together and we have a running joke about the mc’s always saying “I’m not good enough” lol. As you say, 3/4’s of the show is just self deprecation by the mc 😂😂

@Ahmedpower you need to get a grip.. first it’s a parents responsibility to make sure their children are happy and healthy regardless of their circumstances. Second don’t tell me I’m wrong. I’m just as entitled to my opinion as anyone else. Have you looked at the manga? It’s almost shot for shot. If what I said hits a little to close to home then perhaps you should “communicate” that to someone. Lol. Lastly, I didn’t judge anything. I simply stated the lack of these people speaking to each other caused their problems. You need to relax before you have a stroke. I never attacked or put anyone down. If YOU’RE having problems talking to people go find someone else to take it on tough guy 😂😂

I respect you, man, and you are right for all of things except the manga part , i sware that the dairy part from episode 7 didn't take from the manga , and the manga it's self is taking from the LN
Do you know there are 12 vol out there
and the manga is taking 3 volumes only
and about my problems is to my problems but when story is speaking about my problems and you underestimate it , you underestimate my problem too , so , just respect it
that's all I need from you
