I skimmed over it and watched the ending arc because I've already read the manga. I was surprised by the small (or even big) changes here and there that make the story flow better, given how faithful season 1 is. The anime original ending was pretty good but too short imo, that one anime original episode in the middle could be used for the ending arc instead. Ep4 is one of my favorites in the manga, and also in the anime. They changed it a bit to be more historically accurate as well.

I was surprised that they censored, or rather removed the most brutal scene in the entire manga in ep3 because everything else before was faithful. Some late chapters from the manga were not adapted but the last 2 episodes took some elements from them

I'm enjoying season 2 nors than season 1. it seems even more educational and I like the sidekick girl rather than Bon being the sidekick. fun show for sure but probably not everyone will enjoy.

I'm glad someone else watched it at least. I actually just finished up the finale. Was cook to see Ream again but I like Bons chemistry more with Yumiko. This season was definitely more fun I thought mostly cause of the chemistry between those two. Would be a good anime to show your kids for sure.
